About Jhana – Yoga WordPress Theme
Your timetable is tested in the week that is not normal
Publishing a studio's typical week is easy: Monday at seven, Wednesday at nine. The hard part comes when a holiday falls, one teacher covers for another or a class moves rooms. If every change means redoing a table, the timetable falls behind and your student finds out at the door.
Jhana, by YoloTheme, is a yoga, wellness and fitness theme that includes the Yolo Class Timetable plugin. Its practical value lies there: classes are stored as content with dates, teachers and exceptions, and the published timetable comes from that data.
Recurring classes, holidays and timetable views
- Recurring classes: you choose the number of weeks and the days, or set the dates by hand.
- Advanced weekly schedule: each day can have its own times, teacher and address.
- Holidays: they hide classes from the timetable between two dates, and you can add exception classes.
- Views: monthly, weekly or daily, in a grid or list.
- Filters by category or level on the timetable, and also by teacher and day on class listings.
- Calendars: import classes from a Google Calendar link or file and export the timetable to iCal.
- Overlapping classes: those sharing a date and time appear grouped.
Demos, profiles and a studio shop
The demo home pages are called Shop, Studio, Workout, Retreat and Classic. Besides classes, there are content types for teachers and portfolio, with archive and single pages. Each teacher can show their experience, contact details and social links.
The shop uses WooCommerce, with AJAX filters, quick view and compatibility with YITH Compare and Wishlist. The design is adjusted from a Redux panel with dedicated Class and Trainer sections, four header styles, a mega menu, wide or boxed layouts, more than 600 Google Fonts and more than 80 shortcodes. It is compatible with WPML and right-to-left layouts.
Signing up and paying take another route
Its features do not include class payments, passes or seat limits. Each class has a register button leading to the link you define, and the theme includes a popup for registering for a class. Try what data it collects and where it arrives before announcing it.
If you need bookings with payment, that link can point to your booking system or your form. That combination is yours, so try the complete path. WooCommerce sells products, but the theme does not turn a purchase into a seat on the timetable.
Installing Jhana and loading your first week
Elementor and Revolution Slider are required plugins, and Yolo Class Timetable comes in the package. To avoid import failures, set upload_max_filesize and post_max_size to 256M and max_execution_time to 3000.
- Upload the yolo-jhana.zip file under Appearance, Themes, and activate it.
- Install the required plugins and any recommended ones you need.
- Import the demo under Jhana, Import Demo.
- Reset the theme options and replace the sample domain with yours in Elementor, Tools.
- Create your teachers, categories and levels.
- Add the classes and mark the quarter's holidays.
Paid bookings and other yoga themes
Amelia is a booking system with events for classes and workshops, capacity per service and payment through WooCommerce, Stripe or PayPal. It can sit alongside Jhana through the register link, as long as you confirm the path on your site.
If you are looking for other designs from the sector, the catalog includes Mandala, Gloria Miles and Zen Retreat.
Common questions from a studio
Does Jhana work for a gym or a spa?
Yes. It is aimed at yoga, fitness, wellness, spa and beauty, and one of its demos is called Workout.
Can a class be hidden on a holiday?
Yes. A holiday setting hides classes between a start date and an end date.
Can a teacher replace another for just one day?
The advanced weekly schedule lets you change the teacher by day of the week. For a single date, try exception classes.
Can my students pay for a class from the timetable?
Its features do not include class payments. The register button can lead to the payment or booking page you choose.
Does it sync with Google Calendar?
It imports classes from a Google Calendar link or file and exports to iCal. Do not take that as two-way sync.
Is it designed for Gutenberg?
The theme works with Elementor, and that builder is one of its required plugins.
