About Jonah – Landscape Design and Lawn Mowing WordPress Theme

People who hire a gardener can rarely picture the result

A landscaping or lawn mowing company has a problem that words alone don't solve: the customer has to trust something that doesn't exist yet. A website with tiny photos, mixed-up services and a hidden contact form sends the visitor to another company. Jonah is a theme built for that business, with sections that separate each type of job.

A walk through Jonah: from the home page to the quote request

Imagine a homeowner looking for someone to redo the back garden. Here is their path through the site:

  • Home page: a header slider with projects and seasonal offers, followed by an introduction to the company and its history. This is where they decide whether to keep reading.
  • Services: the demo sets up separate pages for softscapes, hardscapes, lawn care, garden care, commercial exteriors, exterior remodeling and hospitality exteriors. Each service is explained on its own, so visitors find theirs without reading everything.
  • Projects: a gallery filterable by category (the same service types) to show real work. You need your own photos: without them this section loses all its value.
  • Remote design: the demo includes an online design page for clients who can't be visited in person. It is an example of text and structure; the remote work process is yours to define.
  • Contact: a contact page and a newsletter subscription in the footer. The theme provides the space, but it is not a booking or automatic quoting system.

A blog for the seasons: earning visits between jobs

Gardens follow a calendar: planting in autumn, pruning, choosing mulch. The demo comes with a blog with sample articles of that kind and supports several post formats: standard, gallery, link, video, quote and audio. Listings can be shown as a list, a grid or a masonry layout, with the sidebar on the left, on the right or not at all. It helps people searching for garden ideas reach your site before they need a quote.

Headers and footers to choose from, and what to check

Jonah offers three header styles and three footer styles, plus sample pages: about, 404 error, typography and elements. This lets you change the look of the site without rebuilding it.

  • All the demo content (address, texts, news dates, social links) is sample material. Replace it with your own.
  • The sample news posts are from 2016: delete or replace them so the site doesn't look abandoned.
  • The demo icons include Google+, which no longer exists: remove it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell products or take payments online?

If you need that, check first whether it fits the e-commerce plugin you want to use.

Is it suitable for hotels or residential communities?

The demo includes pages for hospitality and commercial exteriors, so you can showcase that kind of client with its own section.
