About Kadom – Creative Responsive WordPress Theme
A beautiful portfolio won't sell if nobody can see who is behind it
Building the website of an agency or a creative studio usually ends up at one of two extremes: a spectacular homepage with nothing behind it, or a page so corporate that nobody can tell what you do. Kadom is a creative, responsive theme.
People who hire a creative studio look at the work first, but they decide when they see real people and a clear process. That is why the demo doesn't stop at the gallery: it includes a team, a progress bar, a roadmap, pricing and FAQs, the pages where the client checks that they aren't hiring a black box.
The pages Kadom comes with, already built
The demo is organized in these blocks:
- Home: a standard homepage, a landing page and a homepage with video.
- Content pages: about, services, testimonials, progress bar, team, pricing, roadmap and FAQs.
- Gallery: 2-column and 4-column versions.
- Blog: grid layout, with the sidebar on the left or on the right.
- Contact.
The homepage gallery can be filtered by category (in the demo: Designer, Photography, Project and Responsive), which helps if you mix types of work and don't want visitors to get lost. There are also video sections to present the company or the solution you offer, and a testimonials area showing each person's name and role.
Kadom depending on who installs it
Small studio or agency
This is the profile the demo is designed for. Services, team (with roles such as founder or marketing lead), pricing and roadmap let you explain how you work before the client gets in touch. If your process is your selling point, make the most of the progress bar and the roadmap.
Freelancer, photographer or designer
What matters to you is the filterable homepage gallery, the 2- or 4-column galleries and the blog for publishing articles about your craft. You can leave out the team and pricing pages if you work alone; you don't need to publish everything the demo includes.
Small business that needs a corporate site
The combination of about, services, testimonials, FAQs and contact covers a traditional company website. Keep in mind that the demo shows no shop pages, so check beforehand whether your project requires selling online.
Questions before choosing Kadom
Is it useful if I'm not an agency? Its structure includes services, gallery, blog and contact. Change the texts and remove the pages you won't use.
What blog layouts does it have? Three: grid, with the sidebar on the left and with the sidebar on the right.
Can I show my work by category? Yes, the homepage gallery includes a category filter, and there are also 2-column and 4-column gallery pages.
Does it include an online shop? The demo shows no shop page. If you need one, check in the demo whether it fits before deciding.
The demo is placeholder text and you will have to rewrite it
The headlines, paragraphs, team names, testimonials with their dates, blog articles and contact details in the demo are examples. You need to replace all of them with your own, including claims such as years of experience, which you can't leave as they are if they aren't true. The same goes for the gallery images, which in the demo are generic placeholders.
