About Kayaq - Runner Kayak Water Sport Elementor Template Kit
Kayaq: the «can I really do this?» doubt gets answered before the first paddle stroke
People looking for a kayak club or a rowing outing rarely doubt the scenery: they doubt themselves. They fear not being fit enough, falling behind or getting into something they can't control. A website that only shows epic photos doesn't answer that. Kayaq is an Elementor Template Kit for kayak clubs, water sport organizers and adventure communities, with a dark design, large typography and an energetic feel that leaves room to explain programs, facilities and who looks after each participant.
From the homepage to the contact form: how to build a club website with Kayaq
Picture a club getting ready for the season and starting from scratch. This would be the path.
Step 1: install the kit and its add-ons
Kayaq is not a theme: it is a set of Elementor designs imported with the Envato Template Kit Import plugin or directly from Elementor. Besides Elementor it needs Jeg Elementor Kit, Elements Kit Lite, Qi Addons for Elementor, Metform and Ultimate Addons for Elementor Lite. It uses free elements, so Elementor Pro is not required. If you have it, header and footer can be built in Theme Builder; if not, they are created from the Jeg Elementor Kit menu. And watch out: pages must have Page Layout set to Elementor Full width, or the global header and footer won't appear.
Step 2: homepage, who you are and your team
This is where Home, About Us and Team come in. It's the place for your instructors to show their faces: someone doubting their level wants to see who they will be out on the water with. The kit provides the frame; the faces, the years of experience and the way you work are up to you.
Step 3: services, pricing and facilities
Services, Pricing, Facilities and Features Work are pages for presenting your programs: the kit provides designs, not an outing calendar, a booking system or online payments. If you need to take bookings, you will have to add that elsewhere.
Step 4: questions, blog and contact
FAQs, Blog, 404 and Contact Us complete the path. The form uses Metform: you have to insert the imported form template into the page's Metform widget, it doesn't appear on its own. The demo photos come from Envato Elements: replace them with your own or get them separately before publishing.
Frequently asked questions about Kayaq
Do I need Elementor Pro? Not to use the kit, since it works with free elements. Pro is only useful if you prefer to build the header and footer with Theme Builder.
Can I book an outing from the website? Not out of the box. You get a contact form with Metform, but not a booking system.
Does it change my current theme? No. It is a set of designs for Elementor, not a theme.
Which pages does it include? Home, About Us, Team, Services, Pricing, Facilities, Features Work, FAQs, Blog, 404 and Contact Us.
Which fonts does it use? Onest and Roboto.
Dark background and large type: test it with your own photos
Kayaq's style relies on dark tones and large headlines. If your photos are flat or dim, the result loses impact. Check in the demo how the sections behave with your own images and adjust colors and fonts from Elementor.
