About Kyros – Personal Portfolio CV Resume Theme

Your portfolio competes with a PDF and a LinkedIn profile

Freelancers and job seekers usually have their career scattered around: an outdated PDF, a social network profile in someone else's format and a few loose links. Your own website lets you decide the order in which your work is seen, and you don't control that anywhere else.

Kyros is a WordPress theme made for portfolios, CVs and personal resumes, with Elementor as its builder. What decides whether it suits you is not the homepage design, but how much of that order you can put together without writing code.

Kyros is built with Elementor and more than 55 elements

Pages are built by dragging elements and seeing the result before publishing. Some of the elements fit a personal profile well:

  • Progress bars and pie charts
  • History and process
  • Testimonials and team as a carousel or a grid, and pricing
  • Gallery, post carousels and counters

It also includes a mega menu, a header and footer builder, a sticky menu on scroll, a sticky mobile header, one-page navigation with smooth scrolling, parallax and video backgrounds, and compatibility with Slider Revolution.

It helps to know what it needs to work like the demo: Elementor is essential, and the theme integrates with the author's own plugins (Bravis Addons and Bravis User). Forms are built with Contact Form 7 and newsletter signup with the MC4WP plugin connected to your Mailchimp account. The shop side is ready for WooCommerce, but you need to install that plugin, and the wishlist, quick view or visual product variations rely on other compatible plugins.

Kyros for a person, not an agency: what people usually ask

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The theme options let you change almost any part of the site from a panel, and each page or post has its own settings.

Can I run the site in several languages?

It is ready for WPML and Polylang, and supports right-to-left languages. You will have to do the translations yourself with one of those plugins.

Can I use it to sell my services or products?

It is ready for WooCommerce, with several shop and product layouts. But it is a portfolio theme with an optional shop, not a full ecommerce template.

Can I customize it without losing my changes?

It includes a blank child theme, which is the recommended place for your code changes.

Colors, fonts and per-page options for your personal brand

Colors and typography are set globally, with Google Fonts and the Font Awesome icon collection, so the site follows your identity and not the template's. If a page needs something different, its own options override the global ones. The theme is responsive, ready for retina screens and loads content with AJAX. It also supports Google Maps and is compatible with Tidio chat.

The demo installs in one click, but it is designed for IT agencies

There are more than 20 demos that import with a one-click installer. The demos are aimed at IT solution agencies, so you will normally replace texts, images and sections so they tell your story, not that of a team. Check in the preview which one looks most like a personal portfolio and start from that.

The theme includes documentation and video guides for setup. If you are going to touch code, start by activating the child theme.
