About Lariox – Corporate and Business WordPress Theme

A coworking space does not rent square metres

Someone looking for coworking space is not comparing floor areas. They are deciding where they will spend six hours a day, who they will run into in the kitchen and whether they will be able to take a video call without the conversation next door being heard. That is not shown with a floor plan.

And there is one question that brings almost everybody to the site and that most coworking sites do not answer: whether there is room. A freelancer who needs a desk from Monday does not want to fill in a form and wait for a reply on Wednesday. If they cannot see availability, they call the place down the road.

Lariox is a corporate theme with six home pages, aimed at coworking spaces, open offices, creative studios and meeting room rental. What follows is about what to put in it so it answers that question.

What it includes

  • Six prebuilt home pages, alternatives to each other, to pick the one that fits without building from scratch.
  • Focus on shared spaces: coworking, open offices, creative studios, meeting room rental.
  • Responsive design, which in this sector gets a lot of mobile use.
  • Corporate structure with the usual services, team and contact sections.
  • Modern and functional design, according to the vendor description.
  • Also valid for corporate businesses that are not coworking, which is where its name comes from.

The four things a coworking site actually decides

The price, without asking for it through a form. It is the first thing looked for and the most hidden. A coworking space that does not publish rates loses whoever is comparing three options on a Tuesday afternoon, which is when this gets decided.

What each plan includes, in a table. Hot desk, fixed desk, private office. Access hours, guests, meeting room hours included per month, registered address. That table is the most read page on the whole site.

Photos of the kitchen and the call booths. It sounds minor and it is not. Nobody decides from the photo of an empty desk: they decide on whether there is somewhere to eat and somewhere to take a call without bothering anyone.

A fast route to a visit. The converting step is not the booking, it is coming to see it. A "come and visit" button with a same day slot works better than any long form.

A note about this theme in particular

It is worth saying because it shows when comparing: the product name says "Corporate and Business" while the vendor description talks about coworking and open spaces. Those are close but not identical grounds, and that gap usually means the theme has been relabelled for a wider audience.

In practice it is not a problem, because the sections of a corporate theme and those of a coworking space overlap almost entirely. But it pays to review the six home pages before committing to one: the one that matches what you need may be a single one.

And as with any demo based theme, what you see in the demonstration includes filler content. With your three real photos and your price table it will look different.

What it does not do

It does not manage bookings or availability. There is no room calendar, no occupancy control and no recurring billing for monthly fees. It is a presentation theme: managing the space is other software, usually a specialised one.

It also brings no access control or lock integration, which is what actually runs a modern coworking space.

The published version is 1.0.0 and there is no official site reachable from here, so compatibility with specific builders and multilingual support are worth checking beforehand on a staging install.

Getting started

1. Look at the six home pages and settle on one. Importing several and deciding later lengthens the project without improving it.

2. Build the plans and prices table first. It is the page that gets the most traffic and it orders everything else.

3. Replace the demo photos with yours, including the kitchen and call areas.

4. Add the visit button with a calendar, even an external one. That is the step that converts.

Alternatives in the catalogue

If the focus is more internal office than space open to the public, Micro Office goes down the intranet and shared work route.

And if what you are building is a consultancy or a professional practice and coworking was just the design excuse, Leroux is built for professional services from the start. To edit it all visually, Elementor Pro.

Frequently asked questions

Does it handle room booking?
No. It is a presentation theme: managing spaces and occupancy is separate software.

How many home pages does it include?
Six, alternatives to each other. It is best to pick one and not mix.

Does it work for a business that is not coworking?
Yes. Its name points to corporate and the sections are the usual ones for a services company.

Should I publish prices or ask for them through a form?
Publish them. It is the first thing comparers look for and hiding it costs visits.

Does it include access control or locks?
No. Nothing about the daily operation of the space is in the theme.

What WordPress version does it need?
Not specified in the vendor listing. It is worth testing beforehand on a staging install.
