If your website does not answer those doubts, the visitor goes to another one that seems clearer. Legacy is a theme designed for mortgage and financing websites that want to receive inquiries with the doubts already cleared up.
Legacy takes the visitor from doubt to consultation
The demo is organized as a home page with a menu (Home, About us, Services, News, Testimonials and Contacts) and with the phone number and email in plain view. Each block pushes toward a free consultation:
- Header with a call to action: a message about refinancing at a lower rate and a button to request a consultation.
- Monthly payment block: invites the visitor to estimate what they would pay.
- Rates by product: 15-year and 30-year fixed, 5/1 and 7/1 adjustable, each with its interest rate, its APR and a link to details.
- How to get approved: down payment, credit score, employment history and debt-to-income ratio.
- Social proof and closing: testimonials, an explainer video, industry news and a free consultation form.
The payment calculator needs its own tool
Legacy gives you the storefront, not the financial engine. This is up to you:
- You cover: a working payment calculator, with a separate plugin or an external tool (check in the demo whether the block calculates anything or only invites you to).
- You cover: the real rates, APR and terms, and testimonials from real clients.
- You or a professional cover: the legal texts and notices your country requires for credit advertising.
Rates change and the website cannot fall behind
On a mortgage website, the data that expires fastest is the one people look at most: the rate. If you publish figures, decide who updates them and how often, because an outdated rate brings calls from angry clients. Publishing rates and APR is usually regulated, so check which conditions you must show alongside them. Replace the demo testimonials with real, authorized opinions.
Adapting Legacy if you do not sell mortgages as in the demo
The demo products (15-year and 30-year fixed, 5/1 and 7/1 adjustable, a loan with financing up to 100%) answer to a specific market. If you work in another country, change names, terms and requirements so the visitor recognizes what you really offer. Also, the demo presents financing, not a property listing: if you want to publish properties with detail pages and filters, you will need to add a real estate plugin.
