A Litho site rests on two pieces, and this is one of them

You install the Litho theme, activate Elementor and assume the work lives in the theme. However, Litho requires two plugins, and they must stay installed and active at all times for it to work properly: Elementor and Litho Addons.

Whoever maintains a Litho site has to treat this plugin as part of the theme, not as a dispensable extra. That changes several everyday decisions. A plugin cleanup must not touch it, and a theme update can arrive together with a new version of the plugin.

Litho Addons provides extra elements for Elementor and is built for the Litho theme. It serves you if you already use that theme or plan to. If you are looking for a widget pack for any other Elementor theme, this product is not intended for that.

Widgets in the Litho style inside Elementor

The Litho set combines its own widgets with the Elementor basics. Among those you configure on a site with this theme are:

• Content: accordion, blockquote, drop cap, feature box, flip box and text rotator.
• Carousels: content, images, icon boxes, brand logos, team and testimonials.
• Data and conversion: countdown, pie chart, progress bar, progress steps, price table, newsletter and popup.
• Navigation: site logo, hamburger menu, left menu and mega menu.
• Portfolio and blog: portfolio, portfolio filter, interactive portfolio, blog list and product list.

Inside one widget: the accordion

To give you an idea of the level of control, the accordion is configured in groups. In General you pick from the available styles and decide whether an item stays open by default.

In the content you add items with Add Item. Each one accepts different icons for expanding and collapsing, taken from the library or uploaded as SVG, and the title can use an H1 to H6 or DIV tag. That last detail matters if you care about heading hierarchy.

The style tab controls the container's background, padding, margin, border radius and shadow, plus the typography, color and borders of titles and descriptions. Icons have alignment, size and spacing, and their own color and spacing for the active state.

Dynamic slider, Lottie and image comparison

The widget catalog has grown along with the theme. These carry the Litho name:

• Litho Dynamic Slider, a dynamic slider.
• Litho Loop Builder, for building loops.
• Litho Lottie Animation, for Lottie animations.
• Litho Image Comparison, for comparing images.
• Litho Inline SVG, for inserting inline SVG.
• Litho Template, a template widget.
• Litho Social Share and Litho Media Gallery, for social sharing and galleries.
• Litho menu list items, for menu items.

The theme also added compatibility with the Elementor Container and with the inline font icons feature.

Installed with the theme, renewed by hand

You need the Litho theme and Elementor active. Required and recommended plugins are managed from the theme's own panel:

1. Go to Appearance, Theme Setup, Install Plugins.
2. Click Install under Litho Addons.
3. Activate it if needed.

If installation fails, delete the plugin under Plugins, Installed Plugins, and install it again.

Updating has its own step. When a theme version brings a new Litho Addons, you need to deactivate and remove the plugin, then install it again to get the latest version. It is worth doing this on a copy of the site first.

Packs for those not on Litho

If you do not have the theme yet, start with Litho, which is what this plugin exists for.

Is it required to use Litho?

Yes. It is one of the two required plugins, along with Elementor.

Can I deactivate it for a while?

Required plugins must stay installed and active at all times for Litho to work properly.

Does it replace Elementor?

No. It adds elements to Elementor, which remains necessary.

What do I do if it will not install from the panel?

Delete the plugin under Installed Plugins and repeat the installation from Install Plugins.
