About Lizza – Education WordPress Theme
Lizza: an online academy that convinces before anyone writes
Building a training center on WordPress often ends in a pretty site that enrolls nobody: the student sees the course, has a question, can't find where to ask it or how to pay, and leaves. Lizza is an education theme designed for schools, academies, training centers, private tutors and universities. The best way to understand it is to follow the path of an academy launching its first course.
There is a truth about this sector that almost nobody mentions: whoever buys a course decides on the course page, without talking to anyone. What matters in an education theme is not how many effects it has, but whether that page informs, answers likely questions and lets people pay without detours.
First step: start from a demo instead of a blank page
Lizza includes several demo home pages and inner pages that are already prepared. With the one-click importer, your site looks like the sample, and from there you change everything with drag and drop, without touching code. One detail that avoids surprises: the demo photos are copyrighted and are not included, so you will have to use your own or buy the images.
Second step: build each course page with Elementor
The theme works with Elementor and adds header and footer builders, so your academy's menu and site footer can be adapted. A companion plugin of its own (WEDESIGNTECH LMS Addon) gathers shortcodes and content types for laying out course pages. For this stage you have at hand:
- Inner pages ready to customize, not just the home page.
- Compatibility with Contact Form 7, useful for an inquiry or pre-enrollment form where students can ask before buying.
- Compatibility with Events Calendar, if you want to publish a calendar of sessions or talks.
- Compatibility with WPML, if your offer comes in more than one language.
All of that is installed separately: the theme does not come with those plugins already sorted out.
Third step: charge with WooCommerce and know how far the classroom goes
To sell, each course is published as a WooCommerce product. With it you can accept payments in several currencies, as long as you set it up in the store, and the theme also supports YITH WooCommerce Wishlist, so students can save courses they haven't decided to buy yet.
Here is the limit worth looking at calmly. Lizza presents itself as a theme for learning platforms, but the training content side depends on the companion plugin, which provides shortcodes and content types. Before buying, check in the demo whether a student can take a quiz and see their progress the way you need. If your academy requires exams with automatic grading, certificates or detailed tracking, consider adding a dedicated LMS plugin.
