About Local Delivery Drivers for WooCommerce (Premium)
The part of delivery that gets run over WhatsApp
Any business delivering with its own people ends up in the same place: a messaging group where somebody pastes addresses, the drivers reply "done" when they can, and at the end of the day nobody knows for certain what got delivered or when. It works with five orders. With forty, it does not.
This plugin turns that into a system: it assigns the orders, gives each driver their panel and keeps a record of everything.
How orders get distributed
- Automatically, by how many orders each one is carrying, or by area according to postcode, city, region or country.
- Manually, from the admin, one by one or in bulk.
- By claiming, letting the driver pick up available orders themselves, with whatever restrictions you decide.
And it adds three new order statuses: driver assigned, out for delivery and failed attempt.
What the driver sees
A panel built for phones, with their orders, route planning sorted by distance, and navigation that opens straight into Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps. They can mark delivered or failed attempt, call the customer or the office, and check their commissions. With light and dark modes, which on a night shift is appreciated.
The feature that prevents arguments
Proof of delivery: photograph and signature on the spot.
It looks like a detail and it is what solves the most expensive problem in own-fleet delivery, the "nothing arrived here". Without proof, the customer's word against the driver's almost always ends in replacing the order. With a photograph of the parcel at the door and a timestamp, the conversation is different.
The notifications
To the driver when something is assigned, by WhatsApp, text message or email. To the customer when their order leaves and when the driver starts the route, on the same channels. And to the administrator on assignment and on delivery.
What it does not solve
The drivers. This organises the ones you have: it is not a courier company and it does not find anybody for you. And the WhatsApp and text messages go through third-party services paid for separately, usually per message.

No. They have their own panel built for phones.
