About Lucent – Lighting Shop Theme
A lamp sells by how it changes the room, not by its photo on a white background
Building a lighting shop on a generic theme often ends in product pages that show the object but not its effect: the customer can't tell whether that lamp will look right on their table or in their living room, and without that picture in mind they don't buy. Lucent is a WooCommerce theme with an interior design look, where styled photography carries as much weight as the spec sheet.
If you sell lighting, furniture or decor, your hardest job isn't the catalog but getting visitors to picture the product in their own home. The theme gives you the frame, but the photos have to be yours: the demo images are for presentation only and can't be reused on your site.
Lucent and its toolkit for showing product: headers, scenes and listings
It comes with shop, accessories, furniture and decor templates, with one-click demo import so you start from a site that is already laid out. What matters most in a shop like this:
- Product shortcodes: a product list and a product category list to build home pages and sections without touching code.
- Dual image, image with text and image with active scene: designed to combine ambience photos with the product.
- Varied headers: standard, minimal, centered and fullscreen menu, fixed or sticky, with separate logos for the normal, sticky and mobile header.
- Mega menu and side area: useful if you organize the catalog by room, lamp type or collection.
- WooCommerce dropdown cart and integrated search.
It also includes Slider Revolution for home pages with motion, more than 900 Google Fonts, several icon packs, responsive and retina-ready design, and a child theme so you can customize without losing your changes.
Lucent with Elementor, WooCommerce and WPML: how it fits your stack
It is compatible with Elementor, so you can build home pages and campaign landing pages visually. WooCommerce is the base of the shop: Lucent styles the catalog, the cart and the account, but payments, shipping and taxes are set up in WooCommerce. For forms it is compatible with Contact Form 7, and for multilingual shops, with WPML.
Watch out for dependencies: the theme works with its own plugins (Lucent Core, Qode Framework and Lucent Membership). Install them all so it behaves as it does in the demo.
Is Lucent the right base if your catalog is large or highly technical?
Lucent looks best with medium-sized, carefully curated and very visual catalogs. If you handle thousands of items with filters by wattage, socket or color temperature, the theme doesn't solve that by itself: it will depend on the WooCommerce attributes and the filtering plugins you add. Check in the demo how attributes are shown on the product page.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The options panel, the demo import and Elementor cover the usual needs.
Can I use the demo photos?
No. They are for presentation only; you will need your own images or to buy their license from a stock photo site.
Does it work for an interior design studio and not just a shop?
Partly, yes: it includes a portfolio with gallery, masonry, slider and justified gallery layouts, plus a team list, so you can show projects next to the shop.
Does it come in Spanish?
It is translation ready and compatible with WPML, but you translate your shop's content yourself.
