About Maxmad – Building Materials Responsive WordPress Theme

Maxmad puts the quote request at the center of a building materials supplier's website

Someone looking for a materials supplier or a welding shop rarely buys on the first visit: they ask several companies for a quote and pick the one that seems to have already done a job like theirs. A generic company website doesn't help with that; one that shows finished work, the team and a clear path to a quote request does.

Maxmad is a theme built for that journey. Its demo is set up as a welding and metal structures company, with a home page, services, recent projects, team, testimonials, news and a "Request a Quote" block to turn a visit into a contact.

The pages Maxmad includes in its demo

You don't start from a lone home page, but from the skeleton of a full site:

  • Two home pages: a main one and one with video.
  • Company: an "About" page, team and clients.
  • Services: a list, an individual service page and a frequently asked questions page.
  • Portfolio: a three-column or four-column grid.
  • Blog: with a left sidebar, a right sidebar or a grid layout.
  • Contact: its own page, in addition to the quote block on the home page.

Projects, team and progress bars: what to keep and what to change

On the home page, the recent projects and the team carry the most weight. That's what a technical buyer looks at to decide whether you can handle their job, so fill them with real work and your own photos, not stock images.

Two elements of the demo shouldn't be left as they are. The testimonials are filler: publishing made-up reviews deceives the customer and can bring you legal trouble, so replace them with real ones or remove the block. And the percentage bars (work quality, time management, machine power) are self-declared: without real data behind them, someone buying technical materials reads them as decoration.

Is Maxmad right for you if your business isn't welding?

It fits if you sell construction and industrial services or supplies and close deals through quotes. It fits less if your business revolves around an online store.

Can I use it to sell materials online?

It is set up to generate inquiries. If you need to sell online, check in the demo first whether it covers what you're looking for.

Can I adapt it to another construction sector?

The structure is generic (services, projects, team, blog), but the demo's images and texts talk about welding and the content is placeholder. You'll have to rewrite everything for your own activity.

Does it come with a quote form?

The demo has the request-a-quote block and a contact page. Check whether the form works on its own or whether you'll need a separate forms plugin.

Does it have a blog?

Yes, with three layout variants: left sidebar, right sidebar or grid.
