About Moon Flower – Flower Shop WordPress Theme
A flower shop doesn't live on Valentine's bouquets alone
Building a flower shop website usually ends in a catalogue of pretty photos that doesn't show how much more the business does: event decoration, flowers for hotels and restaurants, gardens, delivery for people who live far away. Moon Flower – Flower Shop WordPress Theme starts from that idea. The bouquet is what people see, but repeat work often comes from the services, and here each one has its own place.
Moon Flower gives each service its own page
The demo organises the site with a home page, the business story, services, bouquets, events, home delivery, interior florist, exterior florist and hospitality, plus a showcase section, a blog and contact. That way, a hotel looking for flowers for its reception doesn't have to guess whether you do it.
- Gallery by occasion: the demo groups bouquets into birthdays, Mother's Day, colleagues and custom orders, an easy way for customers to recognise their own situation instead of facing an endless catalogue.
- Testimonials: a block of customer opinions on the home page.
- Blog: posts about types of flowers and bouquets, useful for anyone unsure what to give.
- Contact: address, phone numbers, email, opening hours, subscription and social media icons.
It's a showcase, not a shop with a cart
The demo is designed to present the business and lead to a phone call or a booking (there are book buttons). If you expect to take payments for bouquets online, you'll need to add an e-commerce plugin yourself, and it's worth checking in the demo where each book button actually leads.
Questions before choosing Moon Flower for your flower shop
Is it suitable if I only sell bouquets?
Yes, but there will be extra structure: the hospitality, events or exterior florist pages only make sense if you offer those services. If not, you can remove them from the menu.
Does it work for event decoration and hotels?
That's where it stands out: events and hospitality have their own pages in the demo.
Can I show my own bouquets by season?
The demo gallery is grouped by occasion, so it fits campaigns like Mother's Day or Valentine's Day. The bouquets you show will be yours, with your own photos.
Does it handle orders and payments?
That's not what the demo shows. Online orders with payment require a separate shop plugin.
The demo talks about Nancy, John and Glasgow: rewrite everything
The sample texts tell a fictional story: a shop founded 45 years ago by a couple from Florida, with an address in Glasgow, sample phone numbers and email, two customer opinions and blog posts dated 2020. None of that works for your business, and it's the first thing a customer would notice if it stays.
- Change the story, address, phone numbers, email and opening hours.
- Replace the testimonials with real opinions from your customers.
- Delete or rewrite the blog posts with old dates.
- Remove the service pages you don't offer and keep the ones you do.
