About MoversCO – Movers & Packers WordPress Theme
Your quote form is the first site survey
Someone asks for a price with three details: origin, destination and date. You call back and the questions begin: which floor, whether there is an elevator, whether the truck can stop at the door, whether the sofa fits the stairs. That person is at work, promises to answer later and has already asked other companies for a price.
In a move, the price depends on what is inside the home and how it gets out, so every detail your site does not ask for turns into another call or a figure that changes on loading day. A well-planned form filters better than a pretty homepage, because it gathers much of what you need to know before giving a number.
MoversCO, by ThemeStek, is a WordPress theme for moving, relocation, transport and packing companies. It brings the structure of a site in this sector, with its page for requesting a quote. The content of that page, and what you ask on it, is the part you have to decide.
What to ask before giving a price
Before publishing, adapt the request to what really moves your figure. These questions cover those details:
- Access: floor at origin and destination, elevator and distance from the door to the truck.
- Volume: number of rooms and large or fragile items.
- Service: whether packing, furniture disassembly or storage is needed.
- Date: whether it is fixed or flexible.
Contact Form 7 is among the plugins recommended by the theme, and with it you can define those fields.
The moving site that comes already assembled
- Eight demos, each in an Elementor and a WPBakery version.
- Services with their own content type, with pages such as residential moves, corporate relocation, door to door, storage and transport in the demo.
- Projects with their own content type, three list styles, a detail page and related projects.
- Team, FAQ, shop and forum pages in the demo, the last two with WooCommerce and bbPress.
- Custom elements for Elementor.
- Slider Revolution, an optional sticky header, wide or boxed layout and more than 500 Google Fonts.
- A WhatsApp icon, WPML compatibility and a translation file.
Projects are the place to show real moves. The demo groups them by category, and it is worth creating your own according to the jobs you want to receive.
Pricing, tracking and photos are on you
Its features do not include a price calculator, shipment tracking or booking. The demo journey ends at the quote request, and what follows is in your hands.
The demo images are paid and not included. You will need your own photos of your trucks, your team and your jobs.
The demo also carries filler text and sample figures, such as more than 50,000 customers, 70% savings, 25 years of experience or flat rates. Replace them with your own data or remove them before publishing.
Setup and a first test quote
The theme needs its ThemeStek Extras plugin, and the package also includes a child theme. The recommended order is this:
- Decide between Elementor and WPBakery before importing: the demo is chosen in one of the two.
- Install the theme and let the wizard add the plugins and import the demo.
- Create your services and change the sample text, figures and images.
- Prepare the quote form with the questions that decide your price.
- Send yourself a test request from a phone and check that it arrives.
- Add real projects as you complete them.
Calculators and themes for another kind of haulage
If your price can be worked out from details the customer knows, Cost Calculator Builder Pro builds estimate forms, and Stylish Cost Calculator Premium is another calculator you can compare. If your business is freight, Equita is a logistics and cargo theme, a different field from household moving.
