About MP – Health & Medical WordPress Theme
A small clinic often ends up with a website a nephew built: a phone number lost in the footer, the list of doctors in a PDF and a form that gets more spam than real appointments. MP (MedicalPress) is designed to remove exactly those problems for practices, clinics, dentists, surgeons and hospitals.
A clinic is not a blog: MP brings each piece with its own content type
What sets this theme apart from a generic one is that medical content is not forced into posts and pages. It includes its own content types, each with easy-to-fill fields: doctors, services, gallery items, FAQs and testimonials. Whoever runs the site without being a technician fills in records instead of laying out pages.
From day one to the first patient: a walkthrough with MP
Imagine you are opening a dental clinic and want the website ready to receive appointments. The path would look like this:
- Step 1, the starting point: you import the included XML file with sample content and start from a site that is already built, instead of a blank screen.
- Step 2, the team: you add each professional as a doctor. There are listing templates in 2, 3 or 4 columns and an individual profile page with related doctors.
- Step 3, what you offer: you load the treatments as services and choose between 1, 2 or 3 column templates.
- Step 4, the appointment: the theme includes an appointment template and a contact template with a Google map and an AJAX form. Google reCAPTCHA helps block spam on those forms. If you need a different form, it is compatible with Contact Form 7.
- Step 5, the look: you adjust colors, backgrounds and fonts (any Google font) from the theme options, without touching code.
One limit to keep in mind: the appointment form collects the request, but it is not a patient management system or a calendar. Check in the demo how requests reach you and whether that fits the way you organize appointments.

Yes. It is built on Bootstrap with a responsive design, so it adapts to large screens, tablets and smartphones.
Can I run the site in several languages?
It is translation ready and compatible with WPML. It includes PO and POT files and styles for right-to-left languages. WPML is a separate plugin.
Can I sell products?
It is compatible with WooCommerce, so you can add a shop (for example, dental care products). WooCommerce is a separate plugin that you must install yourself.
Can I use a visual builder?
It includes Visual Composer so you can create your own pages. Note: none of the demo pages are built with it; it is an extra for custom pages.
Details that help people find you
The HTML is written with search engine ranking in mind. It also includes Revolution Slider for slide-based home pages and a news page with post formats. A sample child theme is included to customize without losing your changes, along with detailed documentation.
What to know before choosing MP
It is a theme focused on the health sector: if your site has nothing to do with doctors, services or appointments, you will get little out of its content types. And if what you need is online booking with payment or medical records, you will need additional tools, because the theme focuses on presenting the clinic and receiving requests.
