Filling in entries by hand is what holds a movie site back
A movie site lives on having many entries with the same data: synopsis, cast, poster, genre, year and rating. Typing all of that title by title is what leaves so many projects half finished. Muvipro attacks that bottleneck: the catalog grows fast and the hard work becomes something else, getting visitors to find something to watch and come back for more.
Muvipro step by step: from a blank entry to a published movie
Step 1, create the entry. You choose the content type: movie, TV show (with its episodes) or a regular blog post. With one-click TMDB import, the entry is filled with the title's data instead of you typing it.
Step 2, add the video. Here the theme does not supply the content: you provide the video and the player, and you should have the rights to what you publish. What it does solve is organization: it supports up to 15 players in ajax tabs, useful if you have more than one server, and keeps performance good.
Step 3, offer downloads. You can add up to 15 download links per entry, for example for subtitles or other files.
Step 4, give a preview. The trailer opens in a popup window, so visitors can decide whether they are interested without leaving the page. The entry includes movie structured data for search engines.
Step 5, help people choose what to watch. A visitor rarely arrives with an exact title in mind. For that, Muvipro includes:
- Ajax search and an advanced search widget.
- A best-rated page, based on the TMDB rating.
- A page ordered by title and an A-Z alphabetical index.
- Menus with a simple mega menu, where you can link country, year or genre.
- A homepage slider whose genres you choose from the customizer.
Keep in mind that the theme organizes and presents; it does not bring visitors or supply movies. Everything above depends on you loading the catalog.

Does it work for TV shows or only for movies?
It also has a content type for TV shows, with data for the show and its episodes, importable from TMDB. There is also a blog post type for news or articles.
Does it give me the videos or the players?
No. You provide the video and the player; the theme offers the slots and tabs to place them.
Can I run ads?
It has banner spaces, and the top navigation, banners and sidebar can stay fixed while scrolling.
Does it work on WordPress hosted at WordPress.com?
You need WordPress installed on your own domain and hosting, where you can upload themes.
What Muvipro does for speed and tracking
The theme loads without jQuery or an icon font: it uses SVG icons, a detail that matters when every page carries a poster, players and long listings. It includes infinite scroll for listings and adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop.
