Your Instagram audience is borrowed, your blog's is yours
You post every day on social media and yet an algorithm change can leave your posts without reach from one month to the next. For a personal or influencer blog, your own website is the only place where nobody decides who you reach. My Stories is a theme designed for that role: a lifestyle journal with your name, a tagline, your categories and your social profiles linked.
The theme's demo (called Petite Stories) presents it like this: a header with the author's name and first-person posts about travel, fashion, food or crafts.
A home page with featured posts, popular posts and your Instagram
The demo's home page arranges content in blocks that read from top to bottom:
- Featured posts, each with its category, author, date, title and excerpt, plus a link to see more.
- Popular posts, also with a link to more.
- An Instagram block with a button to follow your profile.
- A short "about me" block and the list of categories.

My Stories lets you choose between one, two or three columns
The demo's menu includes three versions of the blog listing: one, two and three columns.
The sample menu is completed by Home, Blog, Shop, About and Contact, and by TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram icons in the footer. The categories you see (animals, DIY, family, fashion, food, knitting, lifestyle, travel) are samples: you replace them with your own.
The email list and the shop are up to you
What a theme like this saves you is the blog design. What builds your creator business is still your job:
- Already solved by the design: home page with featured and popular posts, listings in three formats, Instagram block, personal introduction and links to social profiles.
- You will cover it with another plugin: collecting email subscribers, advanced contact forms and, if you sell, the cart and payments.
- You will cover it by hand or with a professional: your texts, your photos and your brand, because the demo uses placeholder text and its sample images are not yours.
Shop appears in the demo's menu, but that does not mean it comes with a ready-made store. If you plan to sell your own products or collaborations, check in the demo what sits behind that page before counting on it.

Is it good for anything beyond a personal blog?
Its design is that of a single-author personal journal. For a magazine with several writers or a business with services, there are themes better suited to the job.
Can I show my Instagram on the site?
The demo includes an Instagram block with a button to follow the profile. Check how your account gets connected before relying on it.
Can I change the number of columns?
Yes, the demo shows the one, two and three column listings as separate blog pages.
Does it come with sample content of mine?
No. The demo's texts and photos are placeholders, so you will need to write and upload your own content.
