A portfolio that says who you are and leaves no doubts
Many freelancers build their site with a generic theme, write three sentences, add a form, and then wonder why nobody gets in touch. Nazrul takes the opposite route: a personal website designed to present you and your work.
The key is that whoever hires a freelancer is not comparing your site with other sites, but you against other profiles that also show their work. The one who lets them see a project similar to their own first wins.
The journey of a designer launching a site with Nazrul
Step 1: a homepage that introduces itself
The demo offers a main homepage and a landing page. They open with a first-person greeting, your name, your roles (developer, designer) and a button to discover more, along with a visible contact detail. It solves the problem of a site that doesn't say what you do. All the demo texts are filler, so you will have to write your own.
Step 2: showing work with filters and galleries
There are project pages and galleries in two and four columns. The demo includes a category filter (Designer, Photography, Project, Responsive) so visitors can go straight to what they want. The demo categories are examples: adjust the names to your work or the filter won't say anything useful.
Step 3: credentials, skills and opinions
There is a resume page, a road map, a services page and a testimonials page. There are also skill bars with percentages (Photoshop, HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript). Be careful with them: a 90% is a self-assessment and tells a client less than a well-explained project. Use them as support, not as your main argument. The demo also includes a team section, useful if you work with collaborators.
Step 4: blog and a clear closing request
The blog comes as a list, as a grid and with a sidebar on the left or right, and the homepage shows a latest articles block and a subscription box. To close, there are contact and hiring (Hire Me) pages. Check in the demo whether the subscription box works as is for sending to your email service, because displaying the form is not the same as managing a list.

Is it suitable for an agency?
The demo includes agency and team texts, but its approach is personal. For a studio with many services and detailed case studies it may fall short.
Is it only for designers and developers?
The demo is written for that profile, but the structure of portfolio, resume, testimonials and blog suits anyone who shows their work, such as photographers or consultants.
Can I use it to sell products?
It is not a store theme: what the demo shows is portfolio, resume and blog. If you are going to charge online, you will need to solve it separately and check how it fits the design.
Can I choose the blog layout?
Yes, the demo shows the blog as a list, as a grid and with a sidebar on the left or right.
When Nazrul is not the best option
If you need a site with lots of content, several authors or a catalog of services with prices, a theme designed for one person will hold you back. Nazrul works best when you are the product and your site is a clear introduction with proof of your work.
