About OceanWP Popup Login
Sending a customer to another page to log in or register means asking for an extra click, and every jump is a chance to lose them. If your site has a members area, courses or a shop with accounts, access should open without pulling the visitor away from what they were reading.
An access form that opens over the page you are already viewing
OceanWP Popup Login shows a popup window with three forms: login, registration and password recovery. The visitor moves from one to another inside the same window (from "Not a member?" to creating an account, or from "Forgot your password?" to requesting a reset link by email).
What you can adjust, and what needs the theme
- Where the link appears: you place it wherever you want. The login or register link is also added before the cart and search icons in the header.
- Design: you can style the form and add a background image.
- Texts: you change the form title and description, and also the texts of the login and logout links.
- Redirects: you can decide where the user goes after logging in, after registering and after logging out.
- Social networks: it is compatible with the Nextend Social Login and Register plugin, which lets people log in with social media accounts. That plugin is separate and you have to install it yourself.
- Privacy: the forms can show a link to your privacy policy, as long as you have selected that page in Settings > Privacy.
Important: it is an extension for the OceanWP theme, not a standalone plugin for any theme. If your site uses another theme, this is not the right product. Nor is it a membership system: it does not create access levels or restrict content, it only presents WordPress login and registration in a window.

Does it work if I don't use OceanWP?
It is an extension designed for that theme. If you use another one, don't count on it.
Can I send the user to a specific page after logging in?
Yes. There are redirect settings after login, after registration and after logout.
Does it allow login with Google or Facebook?
Not on its own. It includes support for Nextend Social Login and Register, which is the plugin that provides social media login.
Does it come in my language?
Translations into French, German, Portuguese and Estonian are listed. For other languages, check in the demo how the texts look.
How to set it up so it doesn't confuse people
Prepare the destination pages first: where someone who has just registered lands should not simply be the homepage, but something useful to them (their account, a course, a welcome page). Select your privacy policy page in Settings > Privacy so the link appears in the forms. And take care with the texts: a clear title like "Access your area" converts better than the generic message.
Then test all three journeys with a test user: logging in, registering and recovering the password. Check that the reset email arrives, because that is the failure most often discovered late.
