About Offline Shipping with Table for WooCommerce
When the shipping you charge isn't on any comparison tool
If you work with a regional carrier, a motorbike courier or your own delivery, you want to charge your own rate and not another company's. Offline Shipping with Table for WooCommerce solves exactly that: you write the table and WooCommerce charges what it says. Every tier carries its own delivery time, and the customer sees it next to the price, for example "delivery within 2 business days".
One CSV row, one shipping option in the cart
You upload a CSV file with postal code (CEP, the Brazilian postal code) and weight ranges, the price and the delivery time of each one. Every row that matches the order's destination and weight becomes a shipping option, with the name and delivery time you wrote. The calculation runs in your own store, with no API calls, so it doesn't depend on expiring tokens or other people's servers.
- CEP and weight tiers: each row has start and end CEP, start and end weight, cost, delivery time and name.
- Free shipping per tier: a column with the minimum purchase, or a shared minimum for the whole table.
- Fees: a handling fee on shipping and another on the cart total, in currency or percentage.
- Weight and shipping class: the table can be in grams or kilos, add extra packaging weight and apply to a single shipping class only.
- Several tables: one per shipping method, plus one that only shows when no other shipping is available.
- Large tables: those with many rows are imported to the database in batches, checking each line.
Labels, tracking and rate changes stay in your hands
The plugin calculates price and delivery time from your table and nothing else. It doesn't generate labels, manage pickups or track parcels: that stays with your carrier. Nor does it update itself if your carrier raises prices: you have to prepare a new CSV and upload it. And it is designed for tables by postal code and weight in CEP format, so if your rates are based on other criteria, check that your table fits before committing.
Frequently asked questions before you decide
Can I use my Excel table?
Yes, after saving it as CSV from Excel or Google Sheets. Files separated by commas or semicolons are read.
Do I have to name the columns in a specific way?
No. After uploading the file, you link each column to its field and check the first rows in a preview before it takes effect.
Does it work alongside Correios or Melhor Envio?
Yes, the table appears next to the other shipping options. If you prefer it as a plan B, turn off the "Sempre visível" option and it will only show when no other shipping works for the order.
How does the customer see the delivery time?
Inside the shipping name, using a template you write yourself, for example "Express Delivery (delivery within 2 business days)". It can also appear on a separate line under the name.
Table first, then the shipping zone settings
The practical order is this: have the CSV table ready with all your tiers, upload it, link the columns and review the preview. Then, in the shipping zone, set the method title (you can use the table name and delivery time as variables), the handling fee, the weight unit and the free shipping minimum. Place a test order with a CEP and weight that fall into two different tiers to check that the expected options appear.
