Peakex: an advisory website that explains itself
People looking for a financial advisor or a consultancy rarely know how to judge an accounting analysis or a business plan. What they can judge is whether they understand what is on offer, for whom, and where to start. A website that just says «comprehensive financial services» loses that visitor on the first screen.
Peakex is a theme that suits finance, marketing, legal advisory or startup consulting firms that need to organize their offer on a corporate website.
A home page that leads from headline to contact
The demo follows the order in which a client builds their doubts:
- Headline and entry button, to say in one sentence what you do.
- Service blocks (finance, marketing, legal assistance), each with a short text.
- Achievements and results: an area for figures and percentages by month.
- Lines of work such as startups, anti-crisis and finance, with one sentence each.
- Three pricing plans with a buy button.
- Blog and contact, with links to networks such as Behance, Medium and Dribbble.
The menu includes home, about us, services, projects, blog and contact, a structure that is enough for a firm that does not need more.
The demo texts are no use and the figures are at zero
The pricing plans carry filler text in Latin, the blog posts date from 2019 and deal with IT security and networks, and the achievement counters show zero. None of that is yours. Replace each item with one you can prove, or remove the block: a firm that publishes «0 satisfied clients» by oversight does more harm than one that shows no figures.
The demo also talks about another company and about experience in the United States. Review every sentence before publishing.
The buy buttons do not charge anyone on their own
Before you start, separate what the theme already gives you from what is up to you:
- Already solved: the layout of the home page, services, plans, blog and contact.
- Yours: the texts, the photos and the real figures of your firm.
- With another plugin: online payment for the plans or consultation booking, if you want to offer them. Check in the demo what exactly the contact form does.
- With a professional: the privacy policy and the terms of service, which appear as links in the footer and need content written for your activity.
Questions before choosing Peakex
Does it work for anything other than finance?
The design is multipurpose, but the demo texts and blocks are written for consulting and advisory work. In another sector you will have to rewrite quite a lot more.
Can I sell my plans directly?
The buy buttons exist in the design, but connecting payment requires an e-commerce plugin or a link to your own payment system.
Is it a good option for a small firm?
Yes, if you offer a few clear services: three blocks and three plans are easy to fill. If your work is highly tailored, you will have surplus sections and will need to simplify.
