A calendar that can rent out almost anything
Most booking systems specialise: some do appointments with a practitioner, others accommodation by the night. Pinpoint takes another route: it is a configurable calendar, and what you book depends on how you set it up. A house by the week, a room by the hour, a boat by the day, a consultation by the slot, a place on a course.
The visitor sees availability in a calendar that responds without reloading the page, picks and sends the request.
How it adapts to each business
- Configurable availability, with extensions that change how the slots get calculated.
- Extras, for the add-ons the customer attaches to the booking.
- Amenities, for describing what each bookable item includes.
- Custom form fields, for asking at booking time whatever your business needs to know.
- Discounts, taxes and fees, applied on top of the calculated price.
The detail that matters if you take payment in Spain
It takes payment through Stripe, Mollie and Redsys. That third one deserves a paragraph, because it is not commonly found.
Redsys is the platform most Spanish banks use for card payments. If your virtual point of sale comes from your bank, which is normal once you have a commercial relationship with them, direct integration saves opening an account with an international gateway and explaining a new payment flow to your accountant. With many booking plugins this forces you through WooCommerce; here it comes as standard.
It also integrates with WooCommerce if you prefer to run bookings through it, with catalogue and orders unified.
