About Pithree – Construction & Building WordPress Theme
Pithree for construction firms that win or lose the job on the first visit to the website
People looking for a builder often arrive with the same doubt: if I hire an architecture studio on one side and a building company on the other, who answers when something doesn't add up? A website with photos of buildings and a form doesn't answer that. Pithree is a theme for construction and architecture companies that builds the site around that promise: a single point of contact from the first sketch to the finished building.
The demo shows it with copy about design and construction under one team and with services such as Design-Build and General Contracting. The filler text is provisional: what your website says has to come from the way you really work.
From sketch to handover: how a website built with Pithree is browsed
Imagine a client who wants to renovate a building and is comparing three companies. This would be their path:
- Home page: the theme offers five home versions. With them you decide whether to open with the company message, with projects or with services. The first thing the client reads should be how you work, not a slogan.
- Services: there is a listing, a services page and an individual page. It lets you split design, construction and general contracting into pages of their own, instead of a bullet list.
- Projects: the listing is filtered by category (in the demo, Architecture, Buildings, Decoration and Renovation) and each project can have an image or video gallery. A renovation client will go straight to Renovation, so your categories should reflect how people search for you, not how you sort your archive.
- Proof: there are shortcodes for counters, pie charts, progress bars, team, testimonials, process and pricing tables. They help show figures, people and the phases of a build. You supply the data: a counter with doubtful numbers does more harm than having none.
- Contact: a contact page, a call-to-action block and a Google Map shortcode. Check in the demo whether the map needs any extra setup before it displays.
There is also an About Us page, a 404 page and an under-construction page, useful while you finish the content.
Common questions before choosing Pithree
Does it work if I'm not a builder? It is designed for construction and architecture. It fits decoration and renovation thanks to the demo's categories; for other sectors you would have to rewrite almost all the content and structure.
Will the website be full from day one? The demo shows complete pages, but with filler text and blog posts from 2015 that you will have to replace with your own.
Can I build it in several languages? The demo shows a selector with English, French, German and Japanese, but that doesn't guarantee it comes ready. If your website will be multilingual, check how it is handled before deciding.
Can I show a video of a project? Yes: individual projects have a version with a video gallery, and there is also a video shortcode to embed one in any page.
Blog and shop: Pithree brings more than a construction firm usually needs
The blog supports standard, video, audio, quote, gallery and link posts, plus a masonry view. For a construction firm, the realistic use is finished projects, with a gallery or video of the progress, not publishing every week.
The demo also includes a shop with layouts without a sidebar or with a left or right sidebar, a variable product, an out-of-stock product, account, cart, checkout and wishlist. It makes sense if you sell materials or merchandise; if your website is purely corporate, you don't have to use it. Before counting on it, check in the demo what it needs in order to work.
It is a presentation website: to ask for a quote, the client goes to the contact page.
