About Pretty Creative Pro Theme + Genesis Framework Package
People who hire you look at your homepage before your portfolio
An illustrator, a photographer or a designer spends weeks polishing a piece and very little time on the website that shows it. The usual result: an improvised homepage where the best work gets buried, a pixelated logo or a mobile view that throws everything off. Pretty Creative Pro is a theme designed for creatives who want a polished presentation without designing the structure from scratch.
It helps to be clear about what it is: a theme that relies on the Genesis Framework, and this package brings both. It is not a visual builder or a store. It gives you a homepage structure with widget areas, and what goes into each one is up to you.
Pretty Creative Pro step by step: from logo to a homepage that shows your work
Imagine you are an illustrator and need your site ready before meeting a new client. Here is how the process would go:
- First, the logo. The customizable header accepts an image you upload or a text logo. If you do not have a visual identity yet, start with your name as text and switch to an image when you have one.
- Then, colors and background. In the WordPress customizer you adjust colors, background images and content, with a real-time preview. The room for change is whatever the theme exposes in those settings, not a free-form design editor.
- The homepage, where the real work is. The home page offers six widget areas. Any you leave empty stay empty. A gallery, a contact form or a filterable portfolio depend on the widgets or plugins you add yourself; do not assume they are included.
- The footer. Two more widget areas for what must not be missing: a contact email, your social profiles or a two-line bio.
- The mobile check. The theme adapts to any screen, but that does not make your images lighter: if you upload huge photos, optimize them first.
With that you have a presentable website. If you want to sell prints or commissions with online payment, you will need to add an e-commerce plugin, because Pretty Creative Pro is not designed as a store.
Four templates: when to use the landing page and when the blog
The theme comes with page templates for Default, Archives, Blog and Landing Page. Check in the demo how the landing page behaves (for example, whether it keeps the menu or not) before building a campaign on it.
Common questions before choosing Pretty Creative Pro
Is it suitable if I am not an artist?
The look is aimed at creatives and at showing work. If you offer services or products, you will need to add the pieces specific to your business with plugins.
Do I have to install Genesis separately?
No: the package includes the Genesis Framework along with the theme.
Can I see how it looks before publishing?
Yes, the customizer shows changes in real time, and you can also review the theme demo.
Does it adapt to mobile?
Yes, it is designed to work in any browser, device and screen size.
Does it include a store or an advanced gallery?
That is not its purpose. To sell or to get galleries with special features, add the right plugin and place it in the widget areas.
