About ProCv - CV Resume & Personal Portfolio WordPress
A PDF résumé doesn't show how you work with data
People working in AI or data science usually have a two-page résumé that leaves out what matters: the projects, the tools and how they think. A PDF can't show any of that, and neither can a LinkedIn profile. ProCv is a WordPress theme made for résumés and personal portfolios, aimed at AI specialists, data scientists and people who work with machine learning.
Whoever reviews your profile won't run your code or read your whole repository. They look at your site for a moment and decide whether it's worth going further. That's why a technical portfolio wins when it organizes what you've done, not when it piles up everything you've touched.
How each type of profile can use ProCv
If you're job hunting or changing roles
You get your own website that works as an extended résumé: your career, your projects and a way to contact you, all in one place.
If you're a freelancer or consultant
You can use the site as a showcase for services and cases. The theme includes styling for Contact Form 7, so the contact form fits the design without much tweaking.
If you'll maintain the site yourself
ProCv is built on Elementor, the drag-and-drop page builder, so you can change texts, blocks and projects without coding. It also comes with a Redux-based options panel, a shortcode generator and custom widgets.
What's inside the theme
- One-click demo importer, with XML sample content, to start from a structure that's already built.
- Child theme included, useful if you're going to edit code without losing your changes.
- Responsive, retina-ready design, with a dropdown menu that works on mobile and touch support.
- Font Awesome icons and animation effects to bring sections to life without adding plugins.
- Load more button and standard blog pages, in case you want to publish technical articles next to your portfolio.
- Valid HTML5 and CSS3 code, tested in Edge, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera.
It's listed as compatible with WooCommerce, WPML, Gravity Forms, bbPress, BuddyPress and Easy Digital Downloads, among others. That means it can coexist with them, not that it ships with specific designs for each one.
A portfolio theme, not a store or a course site
ProCv is made to present a person. Being listed as compatible with commerce plugins doesn't turn it into a store theme: if you want to sell courses or services, you'll have to build and design that part yourself. It doesn't include personalized support either, only documentation. In the demo, check how technical projects are presented before you decide.
Frequently asked questions about ProCv
Do I need to know how to code?
No. It's edited with Elementor and the documentation is written for people who aren't comfortable with code.
Does it work if I'm not in AI?
Yes. Its look is tech-oriented, but the résumé and portfolio structure works for other profiles, such as developers or photographers. The theme's own tags, like developer or photographer, point that way.
Can I change colors and typography?
It's an advanced panel for customizing the theme without touching code.
Does it come with a contact form?
It includes styling for Contact Form 7, but the plugin has to be installed separately.
