About Quadlayers WooCommerce Direct Checkout Pro
Every page between "I'm interested" and payment is an exit
The customer clicks "Add to cart", lands on a cart page, clicks again, reaches the checkout and finds a form with fields they may not need. Every step is a chance for them to think twice, open another tab or leave. Quadlayers WooCommerce Direct Checkout Pro shortens that path.
If you sell simple products or near-impulse purchases, the intermediate cart is a toll. If your customers usually take several items and compare them, the cart does help them and you should not skip it without thinking.
What Quadlayers WooCommerce Direct Checkout Pro changes in the purchase journey
One-page checkout
It includes the cart form inside the checkout, so the customer can edit quantities and confirm the order without changing pages.
Direct redirect to the checkout
When a product is added, the customer goes straight to the checkout and the process is reduced to a single step.
Quick purchase button
It adds a direct purchase button to the product page, designed for shoppers who have already decided and want no more detours.
Ajax add to cart
It works with simple, grouped and variable products, without reloading the whole page. It also shows an "added to cart" alert so the customer knows the action worked, and it reduces server load and bandwidth.
Quick view in shop and categories
A button opens a quick view of the product from the listing. It is especially useful with variable products, because the customer chooses the attributes and adds it to the cart without entering the product page.
Fields you can remove, with care
You can remove order comments, shipping address, coupon form, policy text, terms and conditions, among others. Here is the limit: removing a field is not free. The shipping address is only redundant if you ship nothing physical, and terms or policy texts may be mandatory depending on your country and business, so check before hiding them. Removing fields shortens the checkout, but it does not replace deciding which data you really need to deliver the order.
Common questions before turning it on
- Does it remove the cart? It does not delete it: it integrates it into the checkout, where the customer can edit it and confirm the order on the same page.
- Does it work for products with variations? Yes. Ajax add to cart supports simple, grouped and variable products, and the quick view lets customers choose attributes.
- Can I remove the shipping address? It is among the fields you can remove, but it only makes sense if you sell products that do not require shipping.
- Does the customer see that the product was added? Yes, an alert appears via Ajax without reloading the page.
Which stores it suits best
It fits quick-purchase catalogs: digital products, low-priced items or stores where each customer buys one or two things. It performs less well if your sales look like a supermarket basket, with many products and quantity changes, because there customers appreciate a clear cart.
Test the quick purchase button with a variable product before opening it to the whole store
Pick a simple product, a grouped one and a variable one, and buy them as a customer would. See whether the Ajax alert appears, whether the checkout with the integrated cart makes sense and whether the fields you removed leave you without data you need to deliver. Then decide whether the quick purchase button goes on every product or only on impulse-buy ones.
