About Rey - Fashion & Clothing, Furniture WordPress & WooCommerce Theme

A clothing or furniture store is judged by its photos, and photos are heavy

Anyone building a fashion or furniture store often ends up with a beautiful gallery that takes forever to open on mobile, because the theme drags along dozens of features nobody uses. And in these sectors customers decide by looking at large images: if the page crawls, they leave before seeing the second product. Rey is designed for exactly that case: a WooCommerce theme with a polished design and a lightweight foundation.

Rey loads only what you use

Normally, more features mean a heavier theme. Rey has a modular structure: each piece loads when it is needed, not by default. In practice, you activate what your store needs and the rest adds no weight to your pages.

That helps, but it is no miracle: a fast theme does not fix unoptimized product photos. If you upload huge images, you will lose speed anyway.

Demos for fashion, furniture, jewelry, skincare and sportswear

Rey includes many demos that import with one click and can be adapted to your brand. They are organized by type of business:

  • Fashion and clothing: Lagos, Milano, New York and London.
  • Furniture and interiors: Frankfurt, Valencia and Santiago.
  • Jewelry: Paris.
  • Skincare and beauty: Warsaw and Boston.
  • Sportswear and fitness: Amsterdam.
  • Premium electronics: San Francisco.

Importing a demo gives you a store that is already laid out, but with the sample photos and texts. You will have to replace them with your own, and that is where the real work lies. Although it was born for stores, it also works for sites that sell nothing, and it is compatible with Elementor, WPML, Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms and WPForms, among others.

Payments, shipping and sizes are covered by you

Rey is the visual and performance side of your store. The selling itself depends on WooCommerce. Here is how the work is split:

  • What the theme already solves: the store design, the demos by sector, modular loading and a layout adapted to small screens.
  • What WooCommerce provides: catalog, cart and orders.
  • What you cover: payment gateways, shipping rates, taxes, legal texts, product photos and the content of each product page.
  • What to check in the demo: whether the type of size, color or variant selector you need fits your catalog.

If you sell food, alcohol or cosmetics, the warnings and legal requirements for those products are your responsibility, not the theme's.

Frequently asked questions about Rey

Does it work if I don't sell clothes or furniture?

Yes. There are demos for jewelry, skincare, sportswear and electronics, and the theme can be used for other types of websites.

Do I need WooCommerce?

To sell, yes: Rey provides the design and WooCommerce provides the store. Without it you would have a good-looking site, but no cart.

Can I build with Elementor?

It is among the plugins it is compatible with, so you can combine them. Check in the demo which parts are edited with the block editor and which with Elementor.

Can the store be translated?

It is compatible with WPML, the translation plugin, so a multilingual store is feasible. The plugin and the translations are at your own expense.
