About Robbie & Magie – Wedding Event Invitation WP Theme

For the couple who wants a wedding website without hiring a designer

Building a wedding website often ends up as a scanned PDF, an overloaded WhatsApp group or a shop template with a flower photo on top. Robbie & Magie is a block theme for the WordPress editor, from the Gutenverse line, made for couples who want an invitation site with a love story, countdown, photo gallery and attendance confirmations.

It suits you if you will edit it yourself with blocks, or if you are a wedding planner who wants to hand each couple a personalized site. It does not suit you if you need a full guest system with tables, menus and accommodation: the theme provides the visual and content side, and how confirmations are collected is worth checking in the demo before promising it to anyone. It is also not for those who prefer a classic options panel: here everything is edited with blocks.

Guests arrive with a single question: when and where

This is the trap of wedding websites: the couple designs them for themselves, with their photos and their story, while guests visit once or twice to find out what time it is and where. Many will do it from their phone, at the church door or inside the car. The design adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop, so the sensible move is to put the date, place and countdown at the top, and leave the story further down.

There is something else almost nobody plans for: the site has two lives. Before the wedding it is information; afterwards, an album. With editable templates and blocks you can change the content without redoing the design.

Robbie & Magie with full site editing: from the header to the 404

The theme uses Full Site Editing, which means you do not edit just individual pages but the whole structure, dragging blocks and seeing the result instantly. It lets you:

  • Create and modify headers and footers without writing code.
  • Design single posts, archives and the 404 error page to your taste.
  • Start from a template library for those elements instead of a blank page.

It is also compatible with SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO, to adjust each page's title and description, and the images are ready for retina screens, which is welcome with couple photos.

Story, countdown and gallery: where to put each one

The theme is built around four pieces: couple's story, countdown, photo gallery and attendance confirmation. A good sequence is countdown with date and place, confirmation, story and, at the end, gallery. That way whoever is in a hurry gets what they need, and whoever wants to be moved keeps scrolling. Check in the demo how confirmations are presented and whether they fit what you need to control (number of guests, food restrictions).

Questions before choosing Robbie & Magie

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Everything is edited with the block editor, including header, footer and templates.

Does it look good on mobile?

Yes, the design adapts to desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone.

Is it useful for anything besides weddings?

Its design and templates are for wedding invitations. With blocks you can adapt it to another event, but the look will remain romantic.
