About Roox – Insurance WordPress Theme
Nobody visits an insurance website for fun
Someone landing on an insurer's or broker's website is almost never just browsing: they have just bought a car, had their policy renewed with a price hike, or seen someone close to them without coverage. They have a specific question and little patience, and if they cannot quickly find a way to talk to a person, they open a competitor's site.
Roox is a theme built for that journey: almost every block on the home page ends in a button to book an appointment or ask for a quote, and the rest of the site is there to answer the questions that come first.
Four headers, three footers and several ways to lay out the blog
The demo includes four header styles and three footer styles, chosen from the theme settings. For the blog there are these layouts:
- Listing, with a second variant.
- Masonry, also in three columns.
- Grid, also in three columns.
Each one supports a left sidebar, a right sidebar or none. Posts accept image, gallery, video, quote, link and audio formats, which is handy if you want to mix in-depth articles with short notices or explainer videos.
Roox lays out plans, team and reviews on the home page
The demo home page follows the structure of an insurance company: blocks for auto, life, health, travel and business insurance, a team presentation with a profile for each manager, customer testimonials, a section on reasons to trust you, recent articles and a newsletter signup. There are also pages for services, gallery, team, schedule (Timetable), typography and a custom 404.
Watch out for demo leftovers: the quote form offers surgery subjects and the testimonials name another brand. It is sample content, but if you publish without reviewing it, customers will see it and start doubting you.
The same goes for the sample claims, such as years in business or being the top company in the state. Replace them with your own facts that you can prove.
Quotes and policies are handled outside Roox
Roox is a presentation theme: it shows your offer and leads visitors to contact you. It is not a system for selling or managing policies.
- Already solved: appointment buttons, a quote request form with a subject selector, a schedule page, team and plan profiles, a blog and a newsletter signup.
- With another plugin: an automatic premium calculator, a calendar with confirmed bookings or a private client area. Also check that form submissions reach your email.
- By hand: the copy for each line of insurance, your offices and phone numbers, the list of states or areas where you operate, and the legal and privacy notices.
- With a professional: a review of what you promise about coverage and licences, which in insurance is often regulated.
Frequently asked questions about Roox
Does it work for another financial business?
It is designed for insurance. You would have to rewrite all the copy and remove the insurance lines.
Can clients book an appointment online?
It shows appointment buttons and a schedule page. A booking system with confirmation would have to be added with a separate plugin.
Can I present several offices?
The demo footer shows three locations, each with an address, phone and email, so it is a supported case.
Can I change the look of the header and footer?
Yes, there are four header styles and three footer styles to choose from in the settings, without touching code.
