About Santé – Organic Shop WordPress Theme
Anyone selling organic products or natural cosmetics often has a good product and an online shop that undersells it: photos that do not convey where things come from, mixed-up categories and a homepage identical to any electronics store. Santé is a theme designed for that specific case.
An organic shop is decided with the eyes before the label
Nobody can smell a lavender soap or touch a dried herb through a screen. Everything the customer would "smell" has to be suggested by the design: the air, the space around the photos, the feeling of a carefully made product. That is why Santé goes for a fresh, contemporary style, with starting layouts for organic shops and cosmetics, including templates for herbal products. It does not start from a generic shop template that you then have to "soften".
That is a starting point, not finished work: the photos in the demos are for presentation only and you cannot use them on your website. You will need your own photography or stock photos you have permission to use, and in a business like this that is where the difference shows most.
Santé organizes the storefront: catalog, categories and story blocks
For the selling side, the theme is compatible with WooCommerce and includes specific shortcodes: Product List, Product Categories List and Working Hours List.
It also includes blocks such as Info Section, Banner, Team List, Testimonials List, Clients List and a customizable Google Map. In this sector, origin, process and people weigh as much as price. There are also Instagram List, Blog List (with several layouts), Countdown and Counter, and pricing tables, although the latter will be less common in a product shop.
Headers, Elementor and the plugins that come with Santé
There are several header types (standard, centered, divided, minimal, vertical, vertical sliding and a fullscreen menu), with fixed, sticky or sticky-only-on-scroll-up behavior, and separate logo versions for normal, sticky and mobile. On top of that come a customizable mega menu and a side area.
It is compatible with Elementor and lets you import demo content with one click, so you start with a built structure and replace it with your own as you go. It also includes Slider Revolution, a child theme, compatibility with Contact Form 7 and with WPML for shops in several languages, more than 900 Google Fonts and several icon packs. It is responsive and retina ready.
Keep in mind that the theme works with its own companion plugins (for example Santé Core and Santé Membership) and with the Qode framework.
Santé or a generic WooCommerce theme for your organic shop?
Choose Santé if your business sells natural, herbal or cosmetic products and you want a fitting look from day one. A generic theme will give you more freedom, but you will have to build the whole identity yourself. If you need bookings, subscriptions or a system of product pages with ingredients and lab analyses, the theme does not solve that on its own and you will have to add plugins.
A useful warning: if you sell herbal products or cosmetics, be careful with what you write on product pages. Attributing healing effects without backing can get you into trouble, and the theme does not filter that content.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. It is managed from the admin interface and with Elementor. If you want code-level tweaks, use the child theme.
Does it work without WooCommerce?
The catalog and the product shortcodes need WooCommerce.
Can I use the demo photos?
No. They are for illustration only, so you will have to use your own or get a license from a stock image site.
Is it suitable for a shop in several languages?
It is compatible with WPML and translation ready, although you have to do the content translations yourself.
