About Shopio – Multipurpose WooCommerce WordPress Theme
A pretty homepage doesn't sell: the catalog does
Building a WooCommerce store often ends with an eye-catching homepage and weak product pages: a search bar that doesn't help, no way to compare, and a cart that forces people to leave the page. In an online store the sale is won on the listing, the product page and the search bar far more than on the home page. Shopio starts from that idea: it is a multipurpose WooCommerce theme that spreads its effort across many homepages, several shop layouts and several product page layouts.
It is built with Elementor, using drag and drop, with no code to write. It includes more than 30 demo homepages that import with one click, plus ready-made inner pages and several header and footer styles. The demos point to niches such as food, organic products, furniture, fashion, electronics, cosmetics, jewelry, auto parts or kids' toys and clothing.
Features that answer the customer's doubts before they leave
What matters about Shopio is not the list, but which buying problem each piece solves:
- Ajax search with product suggestions while the customer types.
- Quick view to see a product summary without leaving the listing.
- Wishlist and compare, to save favorites and put several products on a single screen.
- Flying cart: after adding a product, the cart shows without changing page.
- Filters to narrow down the catalog and grouped products to add a set in one go.
- Countdown timer for deals with a deadline and customer reviews on the product page.
Three different stores, three ways to use Shopio
Large catalog of technical items
If you sell electronics or auto parts, the customer arrives with a specific need and compares. What counts here is the search bar with suggestions, the filters, the comparison tool and the mega menu to browse deep categories.
Few items and a lot of product to show
In fashion, jewelry or furniture, the photo and the product page are everything. The several shop and product page layouts let you test which one presents your catalog best, and quick view shortens the path from browsing to adding to the cart.
Agency or freelancer with clients in different sectors
Because it is multipurpose, one base serves very different projects: you import the closest demo, change header, footer, styles and site width from the Customizer options, and deliver without starting from scratch.
Frequently asked questions about Shopio
Do I need to know how to code? Not to build pages: they are edited visually with Elementor.
Can I import a demo and change it? Yes. Import is one click, and afterwards you can adjust header, footer, styles and layout from the theme options.
Does it look good on mobile? It is designed for desktop, tablet and mobile, with retina screens.
Is it useful if I don't sell with WooCommerce? Its design revolves around WooCommerce, so it makes sense for stores. For a site without a shop there are more logical options.
It depends on Elementor and its plugin bundle
Shopio doesn't work as a standalone theme: pages are built with Elementor and sliders with Revolution Slider, and the package includes several plugins, among them Contact Form 7 for forms. If you prefer another editor, you will have to give up much of the demos. Before deciding, check in the demo that the product page and listing layout you want is available as it is.
