Animations get lost when they live in a separate panel

It is a maintenance problem that shows up months later. You build a section and give it an animation from the builder's panel, with its dropdowns and its sliders. It works. Six months on, somebody duplicates that section for another page and the movement does not travel the same way, or you have to open five tabs to find where that was configured.

SleekMotion starts from a different idea: the animation is written on the element itself, inside a class, with a short syntax resembling that of utility systems. The practical consequence is that the movement is glued to the element: it copies with it, it reads at a glance and there is no hunting for where it lived.

What the official SleekMotion licence covers

The plugin activated with all its features, the developer's updates while the licence is current and their support. The GPLClub team does the activation on your domain.

What it does

• Animates any CSS property with the short syntax, with no limit on what can move.
• Triggers on scroll, so movement starts when the element comes into view.
• Staggers several elements with a delay between them, which is what gives a sense of sequence.
• Chains timelines without writing JavaScript.
• Respects your own breakpoints, defined in the dashboard, for animating differently on phones.
• Works with the block editor, Bricks, Oxygen and practically anything else.

When it pays

If you are comfortable with classes. Anybody already working with utility systems feels at home from the first minute; anybody who has never touched a CSS class will find it rougher than a panel of options.

If you maintain sites over time. The strong argument is not the effect, it is that a year from now somebody can tell what it does and why.

If you would rather configure through menus and you work on Bricks, the comfortable alternative is the Next Bricks licence; and if you want scroll-linked animation with a visual interface over any builder, there is the Motion.page licence.

And the advice that holds for this whole category: save movement for what you want looked at. A page where everything flies in tires the reader before halfway.

About licensing and the GPL

The code is distributed under the GPL licence and its use is free. Updates, support and activation against the developer's servers are separate services contracted with them. They are not the same thing, and buying one is not buying the other.
