About Softit – IT Solution Services and Technology WordPress Theme

Softit for IT companies: your client arrives with a problem, not a technology

People looking for an IT services company rarely type "software development". They search when something breaks, when their current provider stops answering, or when they have to decide who to trust with their systems. A site that opens with jargon and hides the contact page loses exactly that buyer in a hurry. Softit is a theme for IT services and technology companies that need to explain their services in an orderly way and get visitors to talk to you.

A walkthrough with Softit: from the home page to the contact form

Imagine you are building the website of a managed services company. Here is how the work breaks down.

1. Choosing the home page

There are three home pages: a classic one, one with video and a landing page. The video version makes sense if you really have something to show; the landing page, if you are going to send ad traffic to a single offer.

2. Organizing the services

The theme includes service pages for IT solutions, product design, IT service, managed services and business solutions, plus an individual service page. Use them to answer a single question per page: which problem you solve and how working with you looks.

3. Proving it with cases and people

This is where the portfolio comes in, with two, three or four column grids (with or without spacing between items) and a project page, the team page with an individual profile, testimonials and a "why choose us" section. An important limit: all the demo text is filler (Lorem Ipsum), as are the example names, testimonials and figures. You will have to write your own cases and not leave any sample number published.

4. Closing with pricing and contact

There is a pricing page, an FAQ page, a site map and a contact page. Think of the pricing page as a showcase for presenting your plans. If you need to take payments online, open a client area or manage support tickets, check in the demo whether it covers that, because it does not appear among its pages and you will probably need another tool.

Common questions before choosing Softit

Can it be used for something other than an IT company?

It is designed for services and technology. Texts, images and contact details are examples and need to be replaced in any case.

Which blog layouts are included?

The standard blog, one with a left sidebar, one with a right sidebar, and two two-column versions, also with the sidebar on one side or the other.

Will the site look like the demo right after installing it?

The structure will, but not the content: the demo is full of filler text, dates and example data. Allow time to write your services and gather real photos of your team and projects.

Does it look good on mobile?

That is something you should check yourself: open the demo on your phone and review the home page, the menu and the contact form, which is what your client will use most.

The Softit blog: five layouts to reach people who don't yet know who to call

In an IT business, articles that explain a failure or a technical decision in client language capture searches from people who do not have a provider yet. With five blog layouts you can choose between the standard one, the sidebar on one side or the other, or the two-column versions.
