A «contact» button won't sell a session, a workshop and a course
People who work with sound, astrology or tarot often end up with a website that mixes everything: the one-to-one reading, Saturday's workshop, the course with lessons and the gift card someone wants to buy for another person. Each format is bought in a different way. If they all end in «write to me», you lose the one that needs a date, the one that needs a cart and the one that needs organised lessons.
Sono is a WordPress theme designed for that kind of business: sound therapy, meditation, astrology, numerology, tarot, fortune telling, energy healing, natal chart readings and other holistic practices. It works for presenting esoteric classes and lessons, events, workshops and seminars, and for selling gift cards and certificates.
Sono is edited with Elementor, not with code
The theme is built with Elementor Page Builder. It is also compatible with Gutenberg, responsive and ready for retina screens.
If you don't plan to use Elementor, this isn't your theme.
Workshops with date, place and fee depend on The Events Calendar
Sono is compatible with The Events Calendar, one of the most widely used event plugins. With it you can show what's coming up and tell visitors the time, place and cost of a workshop, a class or an event.
Courses, shop and forms are activated with separate plugins
Sono takes care of the design, but business functions come with other plugins. This split saves you surprises:
- What the theme already provides: a style made for wellness and esotericism, Elementor layout and adaptation to mobile and retina screens.
- What the theme already provides: ready compatibility with The Events Calendar, MetForm, Tutor LMS and WooCommerce.
- You install it: The Events Calendar, if you want a calendar of workshops and events.
- You install it: Tutor LMS, if you want to use it with the theme.
- You install it: WooCommerce, for the online shop.
- You install it: MetForm, for the forms.
- You handle it yourself: your own texts, photos and audio. And if you need appointment booking with set times, the theme doesn't advertise it: count on a dedicated plugin and check that it fits the design.
