About Stonemade – Ceramics and Pottery Shop Theme

Built for the studio that sells pieces and also teaches how to make them

Anyone who works with ceramics knows that one piece never comes out exactly like the last, and that a website that looks like an industrial catalogue strips away the very thing that makes the work valuable. Stonemade starts from there: it is a theme for ceramics studios, craft workshops and pottery shops, with a refined look designed to show handmade objects.

It suits you if:

  • You run a pottery studio or school and want to show the workshop, the team and the opening hours.
  • You sell your own pieces or those of other makers with WooCommerce.
  • You would rather start from a finished demo than from a blank page.

It is not what you need if you want to book course places with a calendar and online payment: the theme displays opening hours, but managing bookings would require another plugin. And the shop only works with WooCommerce installed; without it, Stonemade is just a presentation site.

Stonemade and the shop of pieces that never repeat

A cup glazed in two tones and another in a single colour are not the same thing to a buyer, and the shop has to make that clear. Stonemade is compatible with WooCommerce and ships with product list, category list and product showcase shortcodes so you can place your pieces wherever you want on the page, without relying only on the standard shop grid.

For variations and favourites there is compatibility with YITH Color and Label Variations for WooCommerce and YITH WooCommerce Wishlist. They are separate plugins: if you want customers to pick a colour or save pieces for later, you install them on their own. The theme also includes a WooCommerce dropdown cart widget for the header.

Showing the workshop: portfolio, galleries and Instagram

In ceramics the process sells almost as much as the result: the wheel, the glazing, the kiln opened after a firing. For that, Stonemade includes a portfolio with several list formats:

  • Gallery, masonry, justified gallery and slider.
  • Standard pagination, a load more button or infinite scroll.
  • Project pages with a gallery, a slider or full-width images.

You can use it for collections, commissions or exhibition pieces. There is also an Instagram list shortcode, another for opening hours, and more for team, testimonials, pricing tables and countdowns, handy for introducing whoever teaches the classes or announcing a new workshop.

Three homepages, three headers and the builder you prefer

The demo imports in one click and includes three predesigned homepages and practical inner pages, so you can see how the whole thing looks and delete what you will not use. Headers can be standard, minimal or divided, with a side area, integrated search, a customizable mega menu and separate logos for mobile, light or dark versions and the sticky header.

You can edit with Elementor, and it is also compatible with WPBakery Page Builder. It also includes Slider Revolution, over 1000 Google fonts, a child theme and separate typography settings for small screens.

Frequently asked questions about Stonemade

Can I use it without Elementor?

Yes. Besides Elementor it supports WPBakery Page Builder, and the theme includes its own collection of shortcodes to build the sections.

Is it suitable for a multilingual website?

It is compatible with WPML, which helps if you sell abroad or teach your courses in more than one language.

Does it come with a contact form?

It is ready for Contact Form 7 and has a widget to integrate it. The plugin has to be installed separately.

Can I sell without WooCommerce?

Not as a shop: the selling features depend on WooCommerce. Without it you would have a presentation site with a portfolio and information about the studio.

How many homepages can I choose from at the start?

Three, all importable from the demo, and from there you can customize the header, footer and typography.
