About Storewide Sale For WooCommerce
For stores that run catalog-wide campaigns, not product-by-product deals
Setting sale prices one by one works with ten products. With two hundred it turns into an afternoon of editing product pages, with one you forget and everything to undo when the campaign ends. This plugin is built for owners who put a category, a tag or the whole store on sale for specific dates.
It is probably not for you if you are looking for:
- A complex rules system: what it offers is a percentage or a fixed value reduction.
- Several campaigns with different calendars at the same time: you set up one global sale with its start and end, so test it in the demo before planning parallel campaigns.
- A highly customizable notice: the notice is turned on or off and placed at the top or bottom of the page.
Putting a whole category on sale, something WooCommerce does not do out of the box
By default, WooCommerce does not let you put all the products of a category on sale. Storewide Sale solves that: you choose the category, the type of discount (percentage or fixed amount) and the start and end dates. You can also apply it to specific products, to tags or to the whole store, without opening each product page.
Storewide Sale and margin: the costly part of a general discount is what you discount by accident
Launching a global discount is easy. The hard part is that it drags in low-margin products, or ones that were already on promotion, and you notice only when the month closes. That is why the include and exclude controls matter: you can include or exclude products, categories and tags. Before activating anything, decide what you do not want to touch and mark it as an exclusion.
What happens to products that already had a sale price
This is the typical question when the catalog already has individual offers. The plugin lets you choose between three behaviors:
- Leave the sale applied on the product itself untouched.
- Apply the product sale and the storewide sale together.
- Replace the product sale with the new global sale.
The Storewide Sale notice: useful, but basic
You can turn on a sale notice that appears at the top or bottom of the page, with customizable text. Do not expect a banner with many design options. If your sale lasts only a few days, check in the demo how the notice looks and exactly what time the sale ends.

Can I put just one category on sale?
Yes, and for a specific date range.
Can I leave certain products out?
Yes: you can include or exclude products, categories and tags.
Does it override sales I already have on individual products?
Only if you choose so: there is an option to respect them, another to add them together and another to replace them.
