Email support breaks the moment two people are answering

With a single person in charge, the inbox works: you read, you reply, you archive. The system holds until the day somebody else comes in to help. Then the classics start: two replies to the same customer saying different things, a message nobody answered because each assumed it was the other's, and no way of knowing what was promised to whom without digging through threads of twenty emails.

A ticket system is not bureaucracy: it is knowing at any moment what is open, whose it is and what was said before. That is the leap, and it usually gets made late, after losing a customer over an unanswered message.

What the official Support Genix licence covers

The Pro features activated, the maker's updates while the licence is current and their support. The GPLClub team does the activation on your domain.

• Email turned into tickets, so whoever writes out of habit to your usual address still enters the system.
• Knowledge base with categories and tags, plus analytics on what your customers search for.
• Artificial intelligence help for drafting replies and an assistant handling the repeated questions.
• Integrations with WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, Envato and WhatsApp.
• Import from other ticket systems and documentation tools.

When it pays

If you sell something that generates questions. Digital products, services, training: wherever there is support, order is money.

If several of you answer. That is the exact moment a shared inbox stops working, and the sooner the change happens, the less history gets lost.

If you would rather not depend on an external platform: your customers' data stays in your installation, with no per-agent fee.

One piece of advice before switching on the automatic side: knowledge base first, assistant afterwards. An assistant without good documentation behind it answers in vagueness, and that irritates more than not having one. If you want tickets to trigger actions in other tools, that part is covered by the Bit Integrations licence.

About licensing and the GPL

The code is distributed under the GPL licence and its use is free. Updates, support and activation against the maker's servers are separate services contracted with them. They are not the same thing, and buying one is not buying the other.
