About SupportCandy LMS Integration
When a student writes "I can't get in" and nobody knows which course they mean
In an online academy, half of the tickets start the same way: "the lesson won't load", "it won't let me in". The agent has to reply by asking which course it is, and that back and forth repeats in every query. With several courses and students enrolled in more than one, support loses time finding out context instead of solving the problem.
SupportCandy LMS Integration connects your course system with the helpdesk so the course arrives already inside the ticket.
Two new field types for the ticket form
The add-on adds two custom field types to SupportCandy, which you can place in the ticket form like any other field:
- LMS Course: the customer picks a specific course when creating the ticket.
- LMS User Course: the customer picks from their own courses.
What the agent sees inside the ticket with SupportCandy LMS Integration
Without leaving the ticket, the agent can check the customer's subscription history, total spent and subscription details.
Course plugin compatibility: LifterLMS, Tutor LMS and LearnPress LMS. If you use another course system, this add-on does not cover it.
And remember it is an add-on: it needs SupportCandy installed and one of those three LMS plugins active. It does not work on its own or replace your helpdesk. It does not create tickets automatically or solve queries for you either; it only puts the course context in front of the agent.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with any course plugin?
No. It is designed for LifterLMS, Tutor LMS and LearnPress LMS.
Does it work without SupportCandy?
No, it is a SupportCandy extension and depends on it.
Can the student choose courses they have not bought?
With the LMS User Course field, the list corresponds to their courses. With LMS Course you choose a specific course from the catalog, so decide which of the two fields suits each form.
Can I use both fields at once?
They are independent custom fields, so you can add whichever you need to the ticket form.
Which field to put first in the ticket form
Before activating anything, decide what you want to know in each query. If your support is mostly students with access, the user course field saves the most questions. If you also get questions from visitors, consider the general course field. Once the fields are created, place them at the top of the form so the student fills them in before describing the problem, and test with an enrolled user to check that the agent sees the subscription correctly inside the ticket.
