About Tasty Links
The product mentions in your archive that earn you nothing today
People who live off affiliate income tend to think about new posts, but the money being lost is further back: hundreds of entries that name the blender, the lens or the backpack with no link, or with a link that has since changed. Fixing that by hand means opening post after post, and almost nobody does it. Your archive is the asset that cost you the most work and pays you the least.
Tasty Links starts from a different idea: you add the product and its link once, and the plugin takes care of the rest of your content, including posts published years ago.
How Tasty Links works with your keywords
You add a keyword and the URL it should point to. The plugin finds that word in every post on the site and turns it into a link. If you change the URL later, every post updates with it, without touching any of them by hand.
- Affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links, treated like any other keyword.
- Internal linking: you point keywords at your own posts, using real URLs rather than cloaked redirects.
- Options on each link: nofollow attribute, sponsored attribute and opening in a new tab.
- It also works inside Tasty Recipes recipe cards, as long as you have a paid Tasty Recipes plan.
Product cards, Amazon images and the affiliate disclosure
A text link is easy to ignore. For gift guides or equipment lists, the plugin builds product blocks with a polished look, and the Featured Link block works in any post, not just recipes: it suits packing cubes in a travel guide just as well. If you connect your Amazon Creators API key, the plugin pulls approved product images and updates them when the Amazon listing changes, so you avoid the broken SiteStripe images.
You write the affiliate disclosure once in the settings and turn it on only for the links that need it. It appears right after the linked keyword. Even so, the FTC recommends another disclosure near the top of the post, so don't treat it as a replacement for that one.
Deciding whether Tasty Links works for you even if your blog isn't about cooking
It fits any blog that earns money from affiliate links: travel, crafts, home decor or personal finance. Here is what's worth knowing before you choose it:
Does it work without the Amazon key?
Yes for keyword linking, including while you wait for Amazon's approval. What needs the API key is the automatic download of product images.
Can it be used for internal linking?
Yes. You point keywords at your own posts and the plugin links them the same way as affiliate links, using your real URLs.
Does it integrate with Tasty Recipes?
It links your keywords in posts and inside recipe cards. You can also add your tools to the equipment section of the card, with an image and a link. That connection is included only in paid Tasty Recipes plans.
Can I mark links as nofollow or sponsored?
Yes, link by link, along with the option to open it in a new tab.
