About Templately

Rebuilding the same site over and over eats the hours you never bill

If you work with clients, every new website starts the same way: hunting for a design, redoing the home page, adjusting colors and fonts, copying sections from a previous project you can't find. Templately is a plugin that gathers templates and complete packs in a cloud you reach from WordPress, so you don't start from scratch every time.

The time you lose most in this business isn't in design, it's in the work repeated between projects. If you bill per project, your margin drains away on things you already did once.

From brief to published site, step by step with Templately

Imagine a client asks you for a website for their consultancy. This would be the route:

  • You describe the business. You write what it does and what kind of site you need, and the AI assistant searches the templates for the best match.
  • The AI personalizes. It writes copy and adapts the design to the brand. Review it critically: it is a draft, not the final text for a demanding client.
  • You import the full site. With a pack you can import every page and section at once, instead of pasting blocks one by one.
  • You adjust global styles. You change colors and typography once and they apply across all pages.
  • You review and publish. You preview, tweak what is missing with the visual editor and publish.

The limits show up early: there is a monthly cap on full site imports, active sites and AI credits depending on the plan, and not every template is available on every plan.

Elementor or Gutenberg: choose before you fall for a template

The library is split into templates for Elementor and for Gutenberg, and the amounts are not equal between the two. Before paying anything, decide which editor you work with, because a beautiful template for the other editor is no use to you.

There are templates for varied themes: technology, eCommerce, creative work, portfolio and consultancy, or multipurpose use. If your client is in a very specific sector, check in the demo that the structure fits their content.

Frequently asked questions

Is it worth it if I only build one website?

Yes, but the real value appears when you repeat work. For a single site, the free plan with few imports may be enough to try it out.

Can I save my own designs?

Yes. You have a personal cloud to save templates and reuse them in other projects, and a workspace to share them with your team. The number of saved items and workspaces depends on the plan.

Does the AI write all the content?

It generates copy and personalizes the design from your description, but it uses credits and needs your review before publishing.

Is it only for agencies?

No. There are tiers designed for people with a single site and others for freelancers and agencies with many clients.

What to expect before relying on Templately to deliver projects

Templately speeds up the start, it does not replace design judgment. An imported template still needs your images, your reviewed copy and your adjustments. If you expect a finished website without touching anything, you will be disappointed; if you want to start from 80% done, it is a good working tool.
