About Tickera Sendloop

You run events with Tickera and already send email from Sendloop

Selling tickets and not knowing whom to write to for the next event is a very common failure in this sector: the audience fills the room once and vanishes, because their email stayed inside an order and nobody pulled it out. Tickera Sendloop suits people who already have both pieces, Tickera to sell and a Sendloop account to send, and want to connect them without exporting or importing anything.

It is not for you if you want something that works on its own or that manages campaigns from WordPress:

  • It is a Tickera add-on: you need Tickera installed and a Sendloop account.
  • It only sends the buyer's email. Newsletters, campaigns and automations are created in Sendloop, not here.
  • It sends to a single Sendloop list.
  • If you want an explicit opt-in checkbox, it is built with Custom Forms, another Tickera add-on.

Your list is the only thing that survives from one event to the next

A festival, a workshop or a conference starts from zero every time: the room empties and the next one has to be filled again. If that email does not reach your list at the moment of payment, next time you will pay for advertising to reach people who already knew you.

From confirmed payment to your Sendloop list, with no steps in between

Every paid order subscribes the buyer to the list you have chosen. The connection is made with the API key from your Sendloop account: you paste it into the Tickera settings, pick the list in the dropdown and save. There are no webhooks, no Zapier and no middleman plugins.

Source tag

You can set an optional source or tag so that segmentation reports tell you which event brought in each group of subscribers.

Automations

If the list has automations in Sendloop (a welcome series, a post-event survey, a nudge for the next show), subscribing the buyer triggers them. You design them in Sendloop; the add-on only supplies the contacts.

Consent: you subscribe when you decide to

You have two paths. You can rely on the terms and conditions the buyer accepts at payment, or require an explicit opt-in checkbox with Custom Forms, so that only those who tick it are subscribed. If your Sendloop list uses double opt-in, the buyer will receive the usual confirmation email; with a single opt-in list, the signup is silent. What is valid in each country depends on its regulations, so check your own case before choosing.

Only the email travels. Payment data, ticket details and addresses stay in your WordPress database.

One list per connection: how to separate audiences from different events

Since all buyers land in the same list, if you organize events for very different audiences (music and conferences, for example) the separation has to be done inside Sendloop, with its segmentation, sending to each group separately. If you sell with Bridge for WooCommerce, orders that go through it also subscribe the buyer just like Tickera orders.

Questions before pasting the API key

Does the buyer receive a confirmation email?

It depends on how you configure your list in Sendloop: with single opt-in they receive nothing; with double opt-in they receive Sendloop's standard email.

Can I send to different lists depending on the event?

No, the add-on uses a single list. To separate audiences, use Sendloop's segmentation.

What data is sent?

Only the buyer's email.

Can I subscribe only those who agree?

Yes, by adding an opt-in checkbox with Custom Forms: only those who tick it are subscribed.

Does it work with WooCommerce orders?

Yes, if they go through Bridge for WooCommerce.
