About Top Bar for WooCommerce
An offer nobody sees doesn't sell: the problem of buried promotions
You launch an offer, announce it on social media, and when the customer reaches your store they have to guess it exists. Theme banners usually sit on the home page, and a shopper who lands straight on a product page never finds out. Top Bar for WooCommerce puts a visible message at the top or bottom of the page, on the pages you choose.
In a store that runs frequent promotions, the discount already exists, but the customer isn't seeing it in time. This plugin doesn't create the discount: it helps you announce one that already exists.
What you can put in the bar and how it behaves
You can create several bars and assign each one to specific products, categories, home, blog, cart, checkout or other pages, and even to certain countries. You can also set a priority so that, when several overlap, they are shown in a queue by importance.
- Position: above the header, below the footer or just above the footer. It can also stay fixed or sticky while scrolling.
- Animation: static, sliding (drops down from the top) or side scrolling.
- Content: images alongside the text and several content slides at once.
- Call-to-action button: with its own text, color, font, background and link.
- Style: font color, size and family, background image or color, and custom CSS.
- Shortcode: to display the bar anywhere on the site without touching code.
It includes 5 pre-built templates to get started quickly.
The timer: urgency only when it's real
There are two countdown modes. The date range mode displays only within a specific period. The reset mode starts over after an interval you define. In addition, you can hide the timer if you don't want it.
Some judgment is needed here: a clock that resets with no real offer behind it ends up looking like a trick, and regular customers spot it quickly. Use it for campaigns with a real date, such as Black Friday, Christmas or a seasonal clearance.
Who gets the most out of Top Bar for WooCommerce
The fashion store with seasonal campaigns
Schedule the summer or winter sale bar in advance, with a countdown and a button leading to the right category.
The store that sells to several countries
Since you can target by country, an international free shipping notice is seen only by those who need it, and not by every other visitor.
The store with launches and restocks
A bar on the product page to announce that stock is back or that a new item is coming out.
The blog that also sells
The bar can appear on blog posts, so a high-traffic article can send the reader to the current offer.
It doesn't create discounts: it only announces them
Top Bar for WooCommerce doesn't generate coupons or pricing rules. You need to set up the promotion some other way and use the bar to communicate it. It requires WooCommerce to be active, since it is an extension for that platform. If you need the message to change depending on the cart or the customer, check in the demo how far the targeting options go.
Frequently asked questions

Can I show the bar only on certain products?
Yes, and also by categories, pages, blog posts or countries.
Can it be used to create an offer?
