About Tryo – Banking, Money Transfer & Currency Exchange WordPress Theme

The Sign In button on your site is not your online banking

Anyone who sees a Sign In button on their bank's website assumes their balance and transactions are behind it, and types in their details without thinking. If your financial product lives in another system and that button opens a form on the website, you have created two entrances the customer cannot tell apart.

Tryo is a WordPress theme for the website of a bank, a fintech or a money transfer and currency exchange service. To put it plainly: Tryo does not move money. It does not open bank accounts, it does not execute transfers and it does not exchange currency. It presents your service, and the service has to exist somewhere else.

So the first decision when building it is not about design: it is where each button leads.

What is real and what is simulated in Tryo

  • Test payments. It lets you simulate creating, sending and receiving payments for demo purposes. No amount leaves any account.
  • Sign-up and sign-in forms. These are custom forms for managing customer accounts on the site, and you can show or hide them.
  • WooCommerce. It is there to build a shop and manage its payments, which is a different thing from a transfer between people.
  • Currencies. Its features do not include live rates, so any exchange figure you publish is content you have to maintain yourself.

Decide where each button leads before designing

Consider three situations, and each asks something different of the theme:

  • You already have an application running. Link the sign-up and sign-in buttons to that application and hide the theme's forms. That way the customer has a single door.
  • You have not launched yet. Use the website to explain the service and collect emails with the MailChimp subscription.
  • You only need to show the product. The test payments work for a presentation, as long as it is clear to whoever sees them that they are a simulation.

What Tryo includes for building the site

  • Editing with Elementor and the theme's own widgets, with several demo home pages.
  • Right-to-left support for sites in Arabic and Hebrew.
  • Compatibility with WPML, for multiple languages.
  • MailChimp subscription to collect emails.
  • Lazy loading, a custom preloader and an option to minify CSS and JavaScript.
  • Top menu, custom fonts and configurable footer columns.
  • Blog with a custom layout and an option to show or hide its metadata, plus full-width product and shop pages.

From installation to where each button goes

It works with Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields Pro, Unyson and its Backup & Demo Content extension, the Tryo Toolkit add-on and WooCommerce if you are going to sell. It is edited with Elementor and is not optimized for Gutenberg.

  1. Install the theme and activate the plugins it proposes.
  2. Import the demo data on a new site.
  3. Choose the home page closest to your service.
  4. Decide where the sign-up and sign-in buttons go, and hide the forms if your real access is in another system.
  5. Review every page and replace any sample figure with your own, or remove it.

If your finance site calls for another approach

FinBank is also edited with Elementor and brings together more than twenty-five pages for banking, insurance, loans and financial consulting. Solvency focuses on credit repair and financial services, with six home pages and service and team pages.

If you are going to publish in several languages, WPML is the plugin Tryo is compatible with.

Transfers, accounts and exchange rates in Tryo

Does Tryo process real transfers?

No. It is a theme for your service's website and does not move money. Its payments are demo simulations.

Can I connect my banking application?

Its features do not include any connection to banking systems. What you can do is link the website's buttons to your application.

Can customers register on the site?

Yes, with the custom sign-up and sign-in forms. That creates an account on the site, not a bank account.

Can I sell something with it?

Yes, through WooCommerce, which is integrated for building a shop.

Does it work for sites in Arabic or Hebrew?

Yes, it has right-to-left writing support.

Does it show the up-to-date exchange rate?

Its features do not include live rates. Those figures are your content.
