About Uncanny Toolkit Pro for LearnDash

For those who sell seats to companies and are tired of complaints about «incomplete» courses

A learner finishes the content but never clicks the complete button. They get no certificate, they write to the administrator, and someone has to fix it by hand. When training is sold by seats to companies, that incident repeats with every group, and it has nothing to do with course quality but with LearnDash details nobody configures. Uncanny Toolkit Pro for LearnDash is a collection of modules built to cover exactly those details.

It suits you if you already work with LearnDash, manage groups, group leaders and certificates, and would rather switch on options than pay for custom development. It does not suit you if you want a complete LMS: it is an add-on and does not work without LearnDash. In addition, some modules depend on other pieces:

  • Autocompleting on form submission works with Gravity Forms, WPForms, Formidable Forms or Fluent Forms, which you must have installed.
  • Group forums need bbPress.
  • The colors of the lesson, topic and quiz tables are for those who use the legacy LearnDash theme.

Uncanny Toolkit Pro and the complete button learners forget

The autocomplete module marks all or some lessons and topics as completed when the user views them, and can remove the complete buttons so navigation flows. There are variants depending on the moment: when a quiz is graded (also when a person grades it by hand, so the learner does not have to come back later), on the quiz results page and when a form is submitted, which is useful for feedback surveys or mandatory confirmations.

If you sell microlearning, single page courses let you create courses without lessons: the complete button moves up to the course level.

Company groups: sign-ups, expiry and access without touching accounts one by one

When a company buys several seats, the costly part is creating accounts and granting access. These modules reduce that work:

  • Import users in bulk, with access to courses and groups, custom emails and error checking.
  • Group registration: a page with its own URL that adds to the group whoever registers from it.
  • Group expiration: removes access for everyone on a specific date and notifies them by email.
  • Login redirect by group, with priority if the user belongs to several.
  • Group logo and list to customize the pages each organization sees.
  • Drip lessons by group, instead of applying it to all users.

Certificates that arrive on their own and are tested before going live

You can email a PDF copy of course, quiz or group certificates to administrators, group leaders and learners. You can also download them in bulk as zip files. The preview lets you adjust the design from the quiz edit screen, without building test courses. For the learner there is a branded, printable transcript that summarizes completed courses and quiz results.

Controlling the learning path: time, resets and restricted pages

A timer measures how long the user spends in a course and stops, with a custom message, if they become inactive. The progress reset button is useful in courses that are repeated. You can restrict any editable page by role, by course or by group, and show the days left before access expires. There are also grids of courses, lessons and topics, a label to mark sample lessons and a shortcode that replaces the course navigation widget. The LearnDash CSV report gains more than a dozen columns, with up to three user metadata values of your choice; it is not a full reporting system.

Questions before choosing Uncanny Toolkit Pro

Does it work without LearnDash?

No. It is an add-on: it extends LearnDash and does not replace it.

Which forms can autocomplete lessons?

Gravity Forms, WPForms, Formidable Forms and Fluent Forms. Do not count on it with other form plugins.

Who receives the certificates by email?

Administrators, group leaders and learners, as PDFs.

Does it change the design of my courses?

It adds grids and labels, but the base look remains that of your theme and LearnDash. Check in the demo how they fit your style.
