Two clicks to know who is in charge and how to reach them
Party websites tend to fail in the same way: the program buried in a PDF, a team page with photos but no job titles, and nowhere obvious where a journalist or a potential member can find a phone number. Anyone landing on a political website looks for three things: who is behind it, what they stand for and how to get in touch.
From slogan to membership: the United League home page, step by step
The demo is built as a sequence you can reuse almost as it is:
- Menu and call to action: Home, Program, Team, News and Contacts, plus a "Join the party" button that repeats throughout the page.
- Header with slogan and quote: a welcome message and a quote signed by the party leader.
- Latest news: three posts with category, excerpt, author and date.
- Five numbered principles: citizen support, equality, helping business, fighting corruption and economic growth, each with a short text.
- Figures block: a space to show the party's activity with numbers you will have to fill in with your own.
- Program and leaders: a program section with another call to join and a grid of five officials with name, role and introduction.
- Footer with press service: phone, email, a dedicated press contact and links to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

A local or regional party
This is the case the demo was designed for: principles, program, leadership team and its own news. The most useful part is that the program and the team have their own place in the menu, so nobody has to dig for them.
A candidate running under their own name
The leaders structure is designed for several officials, but you can reduce it to your own profile and leave the spotlight on the home page quote and on your proposals. If the campaign revolves around one person, the team section should explain who surrounds them.
A movement or citizens' platform
The five numbered principles are a good way to explain a cause in plain language, and the figures block lets you show size and presence. The demo's vocabulary is that of a political party, so you will need to rewrite it.
Does United League work if you are not a party?
Yes, if what you need is to present ideas, a team and news in a serious tone: an association or an advocacy group can reuse the same structure by changing the texts.
Does it have a membership form? The demo repeats the "Join the party" button, but check where it leads before assuming member recruitment is solved. If you are going to collect personal data, review the data protection rules that apply to you.
Can I change the five principles? They are numbered text blocks with a title and a description; you can write your own campaign themes in their place.
The demo's news and leaders are placeholder content
The sample news stories are about US politics in 2019 and the leaders' introductions are Latin filler text. They must be replaced before publishing, as must the figures and the phone and email in the footer. If you don't, the site will convey the opposite of what a party wants: improvisation.
