Urbango and the portfolio that explains the brief
Anyone looking for an architecture or remodeling firm has already seen twenty sites with the same photos of spotless living rooms. What decides who they call is not the pretty picture, but understanding what happened to a similar client: what they had, what they asked for, how long it took and how it turned out.
Each project can be published with a standard, image, gallery, video or audio template. The demo presents cases such as the remodel of a basement or of an entire home, with a short text about the starting point. That is the format worth copying: situation, decision and result.
Team, testimonials and services with their own page
Hiring a build means trusting people for months, so the site has to show who is behind it. Urbango includes what you need for that:
- A team section with a profile for each person (in the demo, managing partner, architect and designer).
- Client testimonials, better if they talk about timelines and how the work went, not just that they were happy.
- Service pages, an individual page for each service and a clients section.
It also comes with FAQ, documentation, 404, search results and coming soon pages.
Seven headers, three footers and a blog with several layouts
The header is chosen from seven styles and the footer from three. To build pages there are blocks for animated counter, call to action, contact forms, maps, pricing table, slider, tabs, toggles, text, images and audio.
The blog supports classic, modern, grid or masonry listings, posts in image, video, quote, audio, link or gallery format, and a sidebar on the left, on the right or none at all. For a firm, the blog works better as a log of jobs and materials than as company news.
Choose Urbango if your firm lives on remodels, not on bookings or online payments
It is a theme designed to present an architecture and design firm. The demo talks about kitchen, basement and home remodels, and all the texts, names, phone numbers and addresses you see are placeholders: they need to be replaced. The design and sample content are those of a design and architecture firm.
Can it take bookings online?
The demo menu has a page called booked an appointment, but check there whether it is a contact form or a system with a calendar before assuming the latter.
Can I charge for services from the site?
What you see is a pricing table as an informational block. If you need online payments, plan for a separate plugin and check that it works with the theme.
Is it suitable for a nonprofit or a construction company?
It can be adapted, since it has services, team, projects and contact, but the approach is written for a design and architecture firm. You will have to rewrite the messaging.
Can I publish projects with video?
Yes, there is a project template for video, in addition to the image, gallery and audio ones.
