About User Registration Style Customizer Addon
For people already using User Registration whose form clashes with their site
You install a registration form, drop it on a page and realize it looks like it belongs to another site: different colors, different typography, buttons that don't match yours. That's the problem the Style Customizer solves: adapting the form's look without touching CSS.
It suits you if you already use User Registration & Membership and want your registration forms and the built-in login to match your design. It's not for you if you want a standalone plugin: this is an add-on and needs the main plugin to work. It doesn't add fields, payments or logic either; it only changes how existing things look. If you need to capture more data or restrict content, those are handled by other parts of the main plugin, not this add-on.
Registration is a member's first impression
On a membership site, the sign-up form is where a visitor decides whether to stay or leave, and it's rarely given attention because "it already works". A form that looks like a generic template suggests the rest of the site isn't cared for either. Tweaking the design there costs little and shows exactly where visitors hesitate.
What you can change with User Registration Style Customizer
- Form wrapper: background colors, borders, padding and margins.
- Labels and descriptions: font style, size, color and alignment.
- Checkboxes and radio options: dedicated settings for radio and checkbox fields.
- Buttons: colors, shapes, sizes and hover effects.
Editing with a live preview and no reloads
The panel shows the form as you modify it, without reloading the page. That cuts down the trial and error of adjusting a margin or a color. You don't need to know how to code. If you do know CSS, there is an additional CSS area for details the controls don't cover, so you're not stuck when you want something very specific.
It also works for the built-in login
Styling isn't limited to registration: you can open the customizer from the built-in login form's settings and give it the same treatment. It's useful if you want sign-in and sign-up to share the same visual identity, which people appreciate when they jump from one to the other.
