About Volt – Local Electrical Service WordPress Theme
For the electrician who lives on phone calls, not on reading time
Someone looking for an electrician rarely has time to compare: the breaker trips, something smells burnt, or a new home needs its wiring ready, and they go with the first company that inspires trust and shows a phone number. That is why a website for this trade is won with a well-placed contact number and clear services, not with long texts.
Volt is designed for electricians and companies that do installations and repairs. It suits you if you need a presentation and contact website. It is not the right choice if you want online booking, a materials shop or automatic quotes: check the demo for anything similar before assuming it is included.
Six services, each with its own page
The demo splits the work into separate pages: residential, commercial, electrical systems installation, vehicles, emergency services and industrial. This helps because someone who wants a socket fixed at home does not have the same question as a manager who needs a warehouse checked, and each one reaches their topic without going through the rest.
There are also pages for about us, pricing, FAQs, contact and a 404 error. They are a starting structure: remove the services you do not offer and write the ones you do with your real jobs.
Phone and address at the top, four reasons to choose you on the home page
The top bar brings together the phone number, the address, social media icons (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube) and the search box. There are three header styles and three footer styles to adapt it to your brand.
The demo home page follows this order:
- A banner with an offer and a button.
- A call-to-action block with the phone number.
- The services grid.
- Four arguments: 24-hour service, a range of services, a discount for returning customers and an experienced team.
- A message form and the address.
Be careful: these are sample texts. The discounts, hours and phone numbers in the demo are not yours. If you keep the 24-hour message and nobody answers at night, the customer who calls in an emergency is the one who complains the most.
A blog with eight post formats for the advice people search for
Volt includes a classic listing, masonry in two or three columns and a grid in two or three columns, with a sidebar on the left, on the right or none at all. The post formats are: standard, gallery, image, link, audio, video, quote and status.
For an electrician it makes sense to publish short guides (what to do if the breaker trips, when to replace a fuse box) and galleries of finished jobs. It is optional: if you are not going to write, leave it out of the menu.
Questions before choosing Volt
Does it work for another trade?
It is designed for electrical services, with pages and texts from that sector. For another trade you would have to rewrite almost everything; consider whether its service structure fits you.
Can I change the look of the header and footer?
Yes: there are three styles of each, and the demo includes a typography page to see how the texts look.
Does it include online booking or payments?
Check the demo for anything of the kind: the main action is to call or send a message through the form.
Can I highlight emergency calls?
Yes, it has its own emergency services page and a 24-hour service argument on the home page. Use them only if you really answer at those hours.
