Waziper is a bulk WhatsApp messaging tool for WordPress, from Stackposts. It sends messages to contact lists, auto-replies to a first message, builds keyword-based replies, attaches files and exports contacts from groups.
This page is written differently from the others, because there are two things worth being clear about before buying that do not appear in the product description. They are not small print: they determine whether the tool helps you or creates a problem.
What WhatsApp's terms say
WhatsApp expressly prohibits bulk and automated sending of unsolicited messages in its terms of service, and its system detects it by pattern: many messages in a short time, to numbers that never wrote to you, with the same text.
The practical consequence is the number being blocked, and it is usually permanent. If that number is your business one, the one on your website, your Google listing and your invoices, what you lose is not the tool: it is every open conversation and the channel your customers write to.
What the law says in Europe
Sending commercial communications to someone who has not asked for them is prohibited without prior consent, and instant messaging counts the same as email. You also have to be able to evidence that consent, offer a simple way out, and treat those numbers as what they are: personal data.
Buying or exporting group contact lists in order to message them meets none of those three requirements. It is the practice that attracts the most penalties in this area.
