About WooCommerce Advanced Product Labels
For the store whose offers change every week (and not for those who want a fully custom design)
Putting a manual «Sale» badge on each product works on day one. A month later the offer is over and the badge is still there, or twenty products carry the same label and customers have stopped looking at any of them.
Advanced Product Labels suits anyone running a medium or large catalog who wants labels to depend on store data (price, stock, date, category) rather than on someone's memory. It suits you less if you want fine visual control: what you can adjust is the label type, the colors, your own image and the alignment. If your store is multilingual, check in the demo how label texts are handled before deciding.
A label that only appears when it is true
This is the real value of the plugin: the label is not pasted on, it is conditional. Each one shows only on the products that meet the rules you define. And a label that only shows up when something is true catches the eye again, which is exactly what scattered «Sale» labels lose.
The included conditions are:
- Product, category, product type, tag and featured product.
- On sale, sale price and price.
- Best sellers and total sales.
- Product age.
- Stock status and stock quantity.
- Shipping class.
They can be modified or extended with action hooks, which requires someone who can code.
From «New» to «-30%»: smart tags
The smart tags fill in the variable parts of the text, such as the sale price or the discount percentage, with the automatically calculated amount. That way you don't type «30%» by hand on a hundred products with different discounts.
The conditions above make very concrete uses possible: «New» for items added less than X days ago, «Discount» for what is on sale, «Free shipping» based on the shipping class, «Best sellers» or a label only for the summer collection t-shirts.
Advanced Product Labels on two levels: the group and the exception
There are two interfaces. Global labels are created under WooCommerce, Settings, Product Labels, and apply to every product that meets their conditions. Individual labels are created on each product's edit screen, with the same settings but valid only for that product. There you can also exclude it from global labels, handy for that item that meets the rule but that you don't want to highlight.
Six label types, your own colors and a preview
You can choose between 6 label types or upload your own image, use preset colors or your own, and align each label separately. Both interfaces show a live preview, so you see the result before saving. It is a set of options designed to stay simple: if you need very specific variants for each scenario, you will notice the limit.

Yes, with an individual label from the product edit screen, or with a global one using the product condition.
Does it work with high-performance order storage (HPOS)?

Do I need to know how to code?
Not to create labels with the included conditions. Code is only needed if you want to extend the conditions with action hooks.
